Malaysia Poke Ball League #11 results recap

Malaysia Poke Ball League #11 was a 32-player online event on Limitless, played in Pokemon Champions Regulation Set M-C on 2026-10-09. The final round featured ewithb defeating drake9967, Shedfan [FR] defeating jjayy09, and FR49 [MY] defeating quimeravgc, with ewithb finishing as the only undefeated player at 5-0-0.

Place Player Record Team
1 ewithb 5-0-0 Incineroar / Kingambit / Sinistcha / Sneasler / Garchomp / Delphox
2 Neomystery 4-1-0 Incineroar / Kingambit / Sinistcha / Sneasler / Garchomp / Delphox
3 Shedfan [FR] 4-1-0 Incineroar / Rillaboom / Gardevoir / Indeedee ♀ / Volcarona / Basculegion
4 FR49 [MY] 4-1-0 Espathra / Scovillain / Archaludon / Politoed / Raichu / Gholdengo

ewithb’s winning team was built around layered positioning tools and several immediate pressure points. Incineroar carried the familiar Sitrus Berry / Intimidate set with Fake Out, Flare Blitz, Throat Chop, and Parting Shot, giving the team flexible opening turns and reset potential. Sneasler added a second Fake Out user, Focus Sash insurance, and Quick Guard, while also threatening Close Combat and Poison Jab from a Jolly Poison Touch set.

The offensive core had multiple ways to punish passive turns. Kingambit used Life Orb with Defiant, Swords Dance, Kowtow Cleave, and Sucker Punch, making it a strong endgame piece and a clear deterrent into stat drops. Garchomp’s Choice Scarf gave the team a fast mode with Earthquake, Dragon Claw, Stomping Tantrum, and Rock Slide. Delphox, holding Delphoxite, rounded out the team with Protect, Heat Wave, Psychic, and Nasty Plot, giving ewithb a special attacker that could turn setup opportunities into sweeping pressure.

Sinistcha tied the structure together. Its Occa Berry / Hospitality set with Protect, Matcha Gotcha, Rage Powder, and Trick Room gave ewithb both redirection and speed control. That combination let the team function without committing to only one pace: Garchomp and Sneasler could pressure faster games, while Sinistcha and Kingambit gave the team a slower, more controlled route.

The top of the standings showed a clear preference for consistent support pieces. Incineroar appeared on each of the top three teams, with Sitrus Berry and Intimidate on all three. Sneasler was also prominent across the event, appearing on the top two teams and again at #5, #6, and #7 with different items and abilities, including Focus Sash / Poison Touch and Grassy Seed, Psychic Seed, or White Herb / Unburden variants.

Several archetype clusters stood out. ewithb and Neomystery brought the same six Pokemon, with small set differences such as Kingambit’s Life Orb versus Black Glasses and Garchomp’s Dragon Claw versus Breaking Swipe. Psychic Terrain structures also placed well: Shedfan [FR] used Indeedee ♀ with Gardevoir, while jjayy09 and drake9967 each had Indeedee with Psychic Surge. Gholdengo appeared on FR49 [MY], Kairuu [MY], and JL W, all with Life Orb and Nasty Plot, while Rillaboom with Miracle Seed / Grassy Surge appeared on Shedfan [FR], Kairuu [MY], and JL W.

Takeaway for ladder players: prioritize teams with multiple forms of positioning, because Fake Out, redirection, speed control, and setup all showed up deep in the standings.
