| Place | Player | Record | Team |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Gabeeel [BR] | 8-1-0 | Swampert, Pelipper, Basculegion, Wash Rotom, Feraligatr, Blastoise |
| 2 | Mialm [BR] | 7-2-0 | Dragonite, Hydreigon, Dragapult, Archaludon, Dragalge, Hisuian Goodra |
| 3 | Ragnelson [BR] | 7-1-0 | Charizard, Delphox, Torkoal, Paldean Tauros Blaze Breed, Incineroar, Volcarona |

Gabeeel’s winning team was a direct rain offense with multiple layers of pressure. Pelipper supplied Drizzle and Tailwind, while also carrying Focus Sash to help establish the opening position. From there, Swampert and Basculegion gave the team immediate physical damage: Swampert used Swampertite with Wave Crash, Earthquake, Ice Punch, and Protect, while Basculegion used Life Orb, Swift Swim, Wave Crash, Aqua Jet, Last Respects, and Protect.
The rest of the team rounded out the rain shell with useful speed control and support. Wash Rotom brought Sitrus Berry, Levitate, Thunderbolt, Electroweb, Will-O-Wisp, and Protect, giving Gabeeel a way to slow opposing boards and punish physical attackers. Feraligatr added another setup threat with Feraligite, Sheer Force, Dragon Dance, Liquidation, Double-Edge, and Protect. Blastoise was the dedicated support slot, using Rocky Helmet and Rain Dish with Fake Out, Yawn, Helping Hand, and Life Dew. The result was a composition that could lead aggressively with weather pressure, pivot into control with Electroweb and Yawn, and still threaten late-game damage through Last Respects or Dragon Dance.
The runner-up team from mialm took a very different route with Dragonite, Hydreigon, Dragapult, Archaludon, Dragalge, and Hisuian Goodra. It included Light Clay Dragapult with Light Screen and Reflect, Choice Scarf Hydreigon, and multiple special attackers, including Dragonite with Rain Dance, Hurricane, and Weather Ball. Archaludon’s Electro Shot also stood out as a natural fit beside rain-style turns, though the team was not built around Pelipper.
Across the top cut, repeated structural choices were easy to spot. Rain appeared twice in the top eight, with Gabeeel and LzTT both using Swampert, Pelipper, Basculegion, and Wash Rotom. Incineroar showed up in both Ragnelson’s third-place team and karlin22’s fourth-place team, with Intimidate, Fake Out, and Parting Shot appearing as important tools. Light Clay screens were also present on Dragapult and Grimmsnarl, with Meowstic carrying Reflect and Light Screen further down the standings.
Item trends were similarly clear: Sitrus Berry, Rocky Helmet, Focus Sash, Life Orb, Leftovers, and Choice Scarf all appeared multiple times among the top eight. Weather was a major theme as well, with Drizzle rain, Drought sun, Snow Warning snow, and Sunny Day all represented.
Takeaway for ladder players: build with a clear speed plan, because the best teams here consistently paired offense with Tailwind, Electroweb, screens, Trick Room, or weather-based speed control.
