Winner's team
JuanPabla’s winning team combined immediate pressure, layered priority, and flexible speed control. Staraptor held Staraptite with Intimidate and carried Close Combat, Brave Bird, Tailwind, and Protect, giving the team both a physical attacker and a direct way to set Tailwind. Hisuian Arcanine added another high-pressure physical slot with Focus Sash, Rock Head, Flare Blitz, Head Smash, Extreme Speed, and Protect.
The support core was also very active. Raichu used Raichunite Y, Lightning Rod, Fake Out, Zap Cannon, Focus Blast, and Protect, giving the team Fake Out support while also redirecting Electric-type pressure through Lightning Rod. Rillaboom supplied Grassy Surge, Miracle Seed, Fake Out, Grassy Glide, Wood Hammer, and High Horsepower, making it a second Fake Out user and a strong priority attacker.
The special offense came from Gholdengo and Sylveon. Gholdengo’s Life Orb set with Good as Gold, Shadow Ball, Make It Rain, Nasty Plot, and Protect gave the team a clear setup sweeper and spread-damage option. Sylveon used Fairy Feather, Pixilate, Hyper Voice, Hyper Beam, Quick Attack, and Detect, adding another spread attacker with priority in Quick Attack. Overall, the composition did not rely on one mode: it could open with Fake Out pressure, set Tailwind, trade aggressively with Focus Sash Hisuian Arcanine, or build toward Nasty Plot Gholdengo.
Top-team trends
Rillaboom was the clearest standout across the top cut of standings, appearing on each of the top eight listed teams. Miracle Seed was especially common, showing up on JuanPabla, Polar95, blackkobra, FluidHighway, and gustavonmoreno, while other Rillaboom builds used Life Orb or Sitrus Berry.
Gholdengo was another defining pick near the top. The first, second, and third-place teams all used Life Orb Gholdengo with Good as Gold, Make It Rain, Shadow Ball, Nasty Plot, and Protect, and the same Life Orb Gholdengo structure also appeared on gustavonmoreno and Kham P’s teams.
Raichu with Raichunite Y appeared on both 9-1-0 teams, JuanPabla and Polar95, and also on gustavonmoreno’s fifth-place team. Salamence with Salamencite showed up repeatedly as well, appearing on blackkobra, FluidHighway, syl, and Kham P. Incineroar was present on the second- and third-place teams with Sitrus Berry, Intimidate, Fake Out, Parting Shot, Throat Chop, and Flare Blitz.
Takeaway for ladder players: prepare for Rillaboom plus Fake Out structures, and have a plan for Life Orb Gholdengo before it gets a free Nasty Plot.
