Corner Clash (Shiny Dnite Prize) was a 21-player online event on Limitless, played in Pokemon Champions Regulation Set M-C on 2026-10-16. LiamJVGC won the event with an 8-0-0 record, defeating KeyvontheGreat in the final round.
| Place | Player | Record | Team |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | LiamJVGC [US] | 8-0-0 | Golisopod, Pawmot, Gardevoir, Milotic, Indeedee ♀, Hisuian Arcanine |
| 2 | KeyvontheGreat [US] | 6-2-0 | Rillaboom, Primarina, Torkoal, Camerupt, Farigiraf, Garchomp |
| 3 | Scubbs [US] | 5-2-0 | Eelektross, Talonflame, Staraptor, Garchomp, Sableye, Arcanine |
| 4 | SomeoneOffical [US] | 5-2-0 | Sceptile, Heat Rotom, Tyranitar, Excadrill, Dragapult, Volcarona |
LiamJVGC’s winning team combined terrain control, redirection, set-up pressure, and fast cleanup options. Indeedee ♀ was central to the structure with Psychic Surge, Follow Me, Helping Hand, and Trick Room, giving the team both positional support and an alternate speed mode. That support paired naturally with Gardevoir holding Gardevoirite, which carried Expanding Force, Hyper Voice, Hyper Beam, and Protect. Psychic Terrain plus Follow Me creates clear opportunities for Gardevoir to attack safely or pressure both targets.
Golisopod with Golisopite gave the team another major threat. Its Iron Head, Leech Life, Swords Dance, and Protect set suggests a direct win-condition role, especially when backed by Follow Me or Helping Hand. Pawmot added Focus Sash utility with Revival Blessing while still threatening damage through Double Shock, Close Combat, and Ice Punch. Milotic’s Competitive, Recover, and Sitrus Berry gave the team a steadier defensive piece, while Hisuian Arcanine used Choice Scarf with Rock Head to apply immediate pressure through Flare Blitz, Head Smash, Rock Slide, and Extreme Speed.
Across the top teams, flexible speed control was a major theme. The top two both used Trick Room support: LiamJVGC had Indeedee ♀, while KeyvontheGreat had Farigiraf with Armor Tail, Helping Hand, Trick Room, Psychic, and Thunderbolt. Tailwind also appeared in the top four, with Scubbs using Talonflame and SomeoneOffical using Volcarona. SomeoneOffical also leaned into sand with Tyranitar and Excadrill, giving the top cut a mix of terrain, Trick Room, Tailwind, and weather-based speed plans.
Items repeated often as well. Sitrus Berry appeared on multiple support or bulky pieces, including LiamJVGC’s Milotic and Indeedee ♀, KeyvontheGreat’s Torkoal, Scubbs’s Arcanine, and SomeoneOffical’s Volcarona. Focus Sash was also common, showing up on Pawmot, Talonflame, and Excadrill among the top four. Life Orb appeared on KeyvontheGreat’s Primarina, Scubbs’s Garchomp, and SomeoneOffical’s Dragapult, marking the main damage boosters outside the signature stones and related items.
One-line ladder takeaway: build with a clear speed-control plan, but make sure your support Pokemon also create immediate attacking turns for your primary damage dealers.
