Tenki's Cart Weekly #122 - Reg M-C was a 71-player online event on Limitless, played in Pokemon Champions Regulation Set M-C on 2026-10-15. Sascha "Kirin" Eilts [DE] finished first at 9-1-0, ahead of a top cut that showed several clear Regulation Set M-C structures, especially Charizardite Y weather builds and Garchomp-centered offense.
| Place | Player | Record | Team |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Sascha "Kirin" Eilts [DE] | 9-1-0 | Indeedee ♀, Gardevoir, Sneasler, Excadrill, Tyranitar, Hydreigon |
| 2 | Fradibis [IT] | 7-3-0 | Whimsicott, Charizard, Eternal Flower Floette, Basculegion, Kingambit, Garchomp |
| 3 | Simon11 [FR] | 8-1-0 | Charizard, Pelipper, Archaludon, Venusaur, Grimmsnarl, Garchomp |
| 4 | scap_vgc [IT] | 6-3-0 | Archaludon, Pelipper, Grimmsnarl, Charizard, Venusaur, Garchomp |
Sascha’s winning team combined Psychic Terrain pressure, sand offense, and flexible speed control. Indeedee ♀ with Rocky Helmet and Psychic Surge supported the team with Helping Hand, Follow Me, Psychic, and Trick Room, giving the composition both redirection and a slower mode. Gardevoir held Gardevoirite and brought spread pressure through Hyper Voice and Expanding Force, while also carrying Thunderbolt and Protect.
The most direct terrain payoff was Sneasler with Psychic Seed and Unburden. Close Combat and Dire Claw gave it immediate damage and disruption potential, with Rock Slide and Protect rounding out the set. The team’s second offensive axis was sand: Tyranitar with Tyranitarite and Sand Stream paired with Focus Sash Excadrill using Sand Rush. Tyranitar’s Rock Slide, Knock Off, Low Kick, and Protect gave it broad utility, while Excadrill supplied High Horsepower, Rock Slide, Iron Head, and Protect. Hydreigon completed the six with Choice Scarf, Levitate, and a Modest set of Draco Meteor, Dark Pulse, Snarl, and Flamethrower, adding fast special offense and Snarl support.
The clearest trend near the top was Charizardite Y. Fradibis, Simon11, and scap_vgc all used Charizard with Charizardite Y, and Katiclus also had the same Mega choice in fifth. Simon11 and scap_vgc were especially close structurally, each running Charizard, Pelipper, Archaludon, Venusaur, Grimmsnarl, and Garchomp, including Leftovers Archaludon, Sitrus Berry Pelipper, Light Clay Grimmsnarl, Focus Sash Venusaur, and Choice Scarf Garchomp.
Garchomp was another major presence, appearing on teams from Fradibis, Simon11, scap_vgc, KST | KAMPFI, and Yeray402. Focus Sash also showed up repeatedly across different roles, including Excadrill, Whimsicott, Venusaur, Hisuian Arcanine, and Sneasler. Kingambit appeared on Fradibis, trashstarqueen, and KST | KAMPFI, while Sneasler showed up on the champion’s team as well as trashstarqueen and KST | KAMPFI.
For ladder players, the takeaway is simple: strong Regulation Set M-C teams need a defined speed plan, and this event rewarded builds that could shift between terrain, weather, and priority-resistant positioning.
