Thavorian Trials 10 was a 26-player online Pokemon Champions Regulation Set M-C event played on Limitless on 2026-10-10. The final round featured rick_onion21 vs milkwilfong, die_kampfstube vs ep5en, and reddo161 vs beaulavorre, with milkwilfong, ep5en, and reddo161 taking those matches. Reddo161 [GB] finished first at 8-0-0.

Place Player Record Team
1 Reddo161 [GB] 8-0-0 Rillaboom / Staraptor / Milotic / Ceruledge / Raichu / Gholdengo
2 BeauLavorre [DE] 6-2-0 Raichu / Primarina / Incineroar / Sinistcha / Delphox / Farigiraf
3 Andrew Wilfong [US] 5-2-0 Golisopod / Pelipper / Gardevoir / Indeedee ♀ / Incineroar / Gallade
4 Ep5eN [NO] 4-3-0 Golisopod / Eternal Flower Floette / Pelipper / Basculegion ♀ / Archaludon / Sneasler

Reddo161’s winning team is built around layered positioning tools and multiple ways to convert a small tempo lead into damage. Rillaboom provides Grassy Surge, Miracle Seed-boosted Wood Hammer and Grassy Glide, plus Fake Out for immediate control. That support also lines up with Ceruledge, which carries Grassy Seed, Swords Dance, Bitter Blade, Shadow Sneak, and Protect. The combination gives Reddo161 a physical setup option that can take advantage of Rillaboom’s terrain while still threatening priority damage.

Staraptor is the team’s Staraptite user and adds Intimidate, Tailwind, Brave Bird, Close Combat, and Protect. That gives the team a direct speed-control mode without relying only on priority. Milotic, with Competitive, Sitrus Berry, Coil, Hypnosis, Muddy Water, and Ice Beam, punishes opposing Intimidate while also offering a slower disruptive angle. Raichu rounds out the support core with Raichunite Y, Lightning Rod, Fake Out, Zap Cannon, Focus Blast, and Protect. Gholdengo gives the team a special attacking closer with Life Orb, Good as Gold, Nasty Plot, Make It Rain, Shadow Ball, and Protect.

Across the top cut of the standings, Raichu was one of the clearest recurring picks. Both first and second place used Raichu with Raichunite Y and Lightning Rod, and QuimeraVGC also had Raichu in eighth. Fake Out support was common as well, appearing on Reddo161’s Rillaboom and Raichu, BeauLavorre’s Raichu and Incineroar, Andrew Wilfong’s Incineroar, and several other top-eight teams.

Incineroar remained a major glue piece, appearing on the second, third, fifth, sixth, and seventh-place teams, with Intimidate and Parting Shot showing up repeatedly. Golisopod plus Golisopite also made back-to-back appearances in third and fourth, paired with Pelipper on both Andrew Wilfong’s and Ep5eN’s teams. Ep5eN’s version leaned further into rain pressure with Basculegion ♀ and Archaludon, while Andrew Wilfong paired Pelipper with Gardevoir, Indeedee ♀, Incineroar, and Gallade.

The top eight also showed strong item repetition around Life Orb, Sitrus Berry, Colbur Berry, White Herb, Miracle Seed, and Leftovers. Sneasler appeared on fourth, fifth, seventh, and eighth, while Rillaboom appeared on first, sixth, and eighth. Gholdengo was present on both first and eighth with Life Orb, Make It Rain, Shadow Ball, Nasty Plot, and Protect.

Takeaway for ladder players: prepare for Fake Out-heavy balance cores that combine terrain, Intimidate, and flexible speed control.
