VGC Gemeinde Showdown #11 results: Fr33z wins Set M-C

VGC Gemeinde Showdown #11 was a 40-player online Pokemon Champions Regulation Set M-C event played on Limitless on 2026-10-08. Fr33z [DE] finished first at 8-2-0, closing the event with a final round win over tore, while frytki beat joaenna and felixf beat dracador in the other listed final round matches.

Place Player Record Team
1 Fr33z [DE] 8-2-0 Delphox, Sinistcha, Sneasler, Incineroar, Eternal Flower Floette, Garchomp
2 Frytki [DE] 7-3-0 Raichu, Kingambit, Rillaboom, Volcarona, Basculegion, Salamence
3 Cyberman152 [AT] 7-2-0 Salamence, Raichu, Primarina, Volcarona, Rillaboom, Kingambit
4 Felix F [DE] 6-3-0 Golisopod, Pelipper, Basculegion, Archaludon, Garchomp, Rillaboom

Fr33z’s winning team paired two major special threats with a dense support shell. Delphox held Delphoxite with Blaze and ran Heat Wave, Psychic, Nasty Plot, and Protect, giving the team a clear setup route that could pressure both slots once positioned. Eternal Flower Floette filled a similar snowball role with Floettite, Flower Veil, Dazzling Gleam, Draining Kiss, Calm Mind, and Protect, adding a second Calm Mind-style win condition that did not overlap completely with Delphox’s attacks.

The rest of the squad was built to make those attackers easier to deploy. Sinistcha used Occa Berry, Hospitality, Matcha Gotcha, Life Dew, Rage Powder, and Protect, providing redirection and recovery support. Sneasler brought Focus Sash, Poison Touch, Close Combat, Dire Claw, Fake Out, and Quick Guard, giving the team fast disruption and protection against priority lines. Incineroar was the familiar stabilizer with Sitrus Berry, Intimidate, Flare Blitz, Throat Chop, Fake Out, and Parting Shot. Choice Scarf Garchomp rounded the team out with Rough Skin, Dragon Claw, Rock Slide, Earthquake, and Stomping Tantrum, giving Fr33z immediate speed and spread pressure without needing Tailwind.

The top cut also showed several compact archetypes. Frytki and Cyberman152 both used Raichu with Raichunite Y, Lightning Rod, Zap Cannon, Focus Blast, Fake Out, and Protect, alongside Salamence with Salamencite, Intimidate, Hyper Voice, Draco Meteor, Tailwind, and Protect. Both also brought Rillaboom with Miracle Seed and Grassy Surge, Volcarona, and Kingambit, though their item choices varied on Kingambit and Volcarona.

Rillaboom was one of the most common pieces near the top, appearing on the teams of Frytki, Cyberman152, Felix F, Dracador, Joaenna, and Doc_MrMega. Incineroar remained prominent as well, appearing on Fr33z, Tore, Joaenna, and Doc_MrMega, usually with Sitrus Berry, Intimidate, Fake Out, and Parting Shot. Basculegion also appeared repeatedly across Frytki, Felix F, Tore, and Doc_MrMega, most often leveraging Wave Crash and Last Respects.

Felix F’s fourth-place team stood out as a rain composition with Pelipper, Basculegion, and Archaludon. Pelipper carried Choice Scarf, Drizzle, Soak, Weather Ball, Hurricane, and Surf, while Basculegion used Life Orb with Swift Swim and Archaludon used Leftovers, Stamina, Electro Shot, Aura Sphere, Dragon Pulse, and Protect.

Takeaway for ladder players: Fr33z’s win shows that setup attackers can still thrive when backed by Fake Out, redirection, healing, and immediate Choice Scarf pressure.
