Torneo Kurami, REG M-C results: Marrow92 wins

Torneo Kurami, REG M-C was a 15-player online event played on Limitless on 2026-10-01 under Pokemon Champions Regulation Set M-C. The final round came down to marrow92 vs slowmagic, with marrow92 taking the tournament after finishing 5-1-0.

Place Player Record Team
1 Marrow92 [MX] 5-1-0 Incineroar, Rillaboom, Sneasler, Salamence, Eternal Flower Floette, Milotic
2 SlowMagic [DE] 4-2-0 Froslass, Incineroar, Garchomp, Volcarona, Sneasler, Rillaboom
3 DrJargo [US] 3-2-0 Raichu, Salamence, Rillaboom, Milotic, Hisuian Arcanine, Gholdengo
4 TheMese [ES] 3-2-0 Garchomp, Rillaboom, Incineroar, Gholdengo, Volcarona, Raichu

Marrow92’s winning team is built around layered positioning tools and multiple ways to punish common board states. Incineroar with Sitrus Berry, Intimidate, Fake Out, and Parting Shot gives the team standard defensive control, while Rillaboom adds Grassy Surge, Miracle Seed-boosted pressure, and a second Fake Out user. That pairing supports Sneasler especially well: Grassy Seed activates Unburden, and the moveset of Fake Out, Dire Claw, Close Combat, and Protect lets it threaten immediate tempo while still playing safely.

The rest of the team rounds out the speed and damage plan. Salamence with Salamencite brings Intimidate, Tailwind, Hyper Voice, Double-Edge, and Protect, giving Marrow92 another form of control without giving up offensive pressure. Eternal Flower Floette with Floettite, Flower Veil, Moonblast, Dazzling Gleam, Protect, and Calm Mind adds a setup angle that can pressure both single targets and spread damage. Milotic, holding Leftovers with Competitive, Scald, Ice Beam, Protect, and Recover, is a notable companion to an Intimidate-heavy team: opponents trying to cycle stat drops can be punished rather than rewarded.

Across the upper standings, several patterns were clear. Rillaboom appeared on each of the top four teams, always with Miracle Seed, Grassy Surge, Adamant nature, Grassy Glide, Wood Hammer, and Fake Out. Incineroar also remained central, appearing on the first, second, and fourth-place teams with Intimidate and Fake Out, and all three used Flare Blitz, Throat Chop, and Parting Shot. Sneasler showed up on both finalist teams, though with different items: Marrow92 used Grassy Seed, while SlowMagic used White Herb.

Mega-style offensive anchors were also common. Salamence with Salamencite appeared on the first and third-place teams. Garchomp with Garchompite Z appeared on the second and fourth-place teams, while Raichu with Raichunite Y appeared on both third and fourth. Gholdengo with Life Orb, Good as Gold, Make It Rain, Shadow Ball, Nasty Plot, and Protect was shared by DrJargo and TheMese, giving both teams a strong special attacker that does not need much explanation in a format full of positioning.

The one-line takeaway for ladder players: start by respecting Rillaboom plus Fake Out cores, then make sure your team has a concrete plan into Incineroar cycling and fast Sneasler pressure.
