BananaFree’s winning team leaned on a strong Psychic Terrain mode backed by flexible speed control. Indeedee set Psychic Surge and carried Focus Sash, with Expanding Force, Mystical Fire, Helping Hand, and Protect giving it both offensive and support value. That paired directly with Sneasler, which used Psychic Seed and Unburden alongside Dire Claw, Close Combat, Throat Chop, and Protect.
Metagross was the central physical threat, holding Metagrossite with Clear Body and an Adamant nature. Its set of Steel Roller, Psychic Fangs, Body Press, and Protect fit neatly beside Indeedee’s terrain support while giving the team a durable attacker that was not dependent on one damage type. Salamence added another major piece with Salamencite, Intimidate, Tailwind, Hyper Voice, Draco Meteor, and Protect, giving BananaFree both board control and speed control from a high-pressure slot.
The rest of the team rounded out the pace well. Hisuian Typhlosion used Choice Scarf with Eruption, Heat Wave, Shadow Ball, and Overheat, adding immediate spread damage. Milotic brought Sitrus Berry, Competitive, Scald, Ice Beam, Icy Wind, and Protect, punishing opposing stat drops while also offering another speed-control angle. Between Tailwind, Icy Wind, Choice Scarf Hisuian Typhlosion, and Unburden Sneasler, the team had several ways to move first without relying on only one mode.
Across the top teams, Sneasler was the clearest standout. It appeared on all of the top four teams, with BananaFree using Psychic Seed and the next three using Grassy Seed. Rillaboom was also prominent, appearing on the second-, third-, and fourth-place teams, all with Grassy Surge and Fake Out. That made Grassy Seed Sneasler plus Rillaboom one of the defining structures near the top.
Salamence also had a strong showing, with Salamencite, Intimidate, Hyper Voice, Tailwind, and Protect appearing on both the first- and second-place teams. Kingambit appeared on 138mysx and Ulico, both using Chople Berry, Defiant, Kowtow Cleave, Sucker Punch, and Low Kick. Milotic showed up on the first- and third-place teams with Competitive, Ice Beam, Icy Wind, and Scald.
Item trends were similarly concentrated. Focus Sash appeared on Indeedee, Glimmora, and Hisuian Arcanine within the top four, while Miracle Seed Rillaboom appeared on both 138mysx and Lethal21. The top cut also featured multiple Mega stones, including Metagrossite, Salamencite, Garchompite Z, Raichunite Y, Froslassite, and Dragoninite.
Takeaway for ladder players: prepare for Seed Sneasler modes, especially beside Psychic Surge or Grassy Surge, and bring reliable speed control into those matchups.
