YamhVGC’s winning team was built around strong tempo tools and multiple physical pressure points. Salamence held Salamencite with Intimidate, using Draco Meteor, Hyper Voice, Protect, and Tailwind to provide both speed control and spread damage. That paired cleanly with Rillaboom, whose Grassy Surge, Fake Out, Grassy Glide, and Wood Hammer gave the team terrain control and priority pressure.

The most direct synergy was Rillaboom enabling Sneasler. With Grassy Seed and Unburden, Sneasler could threaten fast offense after terrain activation while still carrying Fake Out, Close Combat, and Dire Claw. Acrobatics also gave it another attacking angle once the item was consumed. Kingambit added a second setup route with Life Orb, Defiant, Swords Dance, Kowtow Cleave, and Sucker Punch, making it difficult for opposing Intimidate users to slow the team without risk.
