DisPlotfr’s winning team leaned into layered weather pressure and defensive support. Charizard with Charizardite Y carried Heat Wave, Weather Ball, Solar Beam, and Protect, giving the team a strong spread damage option and coverage into Water- and Ground-adjacent targets. Venusaur paired naturally with that offensive plan, using Focus Sash, Chlorophyll, Sleep Powder, Sludge Bomb, Earth Power, and Protect to threaten disruption while still contributing meaningful damage.
The other half of the structure came from Pelipper and Archaludon. Pelipper’s Drizzle, Sitrus Berry, Hurricane, Weather Ball, Wide Guard, and Tailwind gave DisPlotfr speed control, protection against spread attacks, and a second Weather Ball user. Archaludon with Leftovers, Stamina, Electro Shot, Dragon Pulse, Flash Cannon, and Protect fit well beside Pelipper, giving the team a durable special attacker that could stay on the field through screens.
Grimmsnarl was the glue. Light Clay, Prankster, Reflect, Light Screen, Spirit Break, and Parting Shot gave DisPlotfr a clear plan for extending board presence and softening opposing offense. Basculegion rounded the six out with Choice Scarf, Adaptability, Wave Crash, Last Respects, Aqua Jet, and Flip Turn, adding immediate physical pressure, priority, and pivoting. The result was a flexible team that could play fast with Tailwind, slow the game down behind screens, and keep multiple offensive modes available.
