Jose’s winning team is a committed speed-control composition built around Trick Room pressure, immediate disruption, and multiple high-damage modes. Farigiraf is the clearest centerpiece: Sitrus Berry, Armor Tail, Relaxed, and a moveset of Psychic Fangs, Hyper Voice, Helping Hand, and Trick Room give the team both setup reliability and damage amplification. Armor Tail is especially important for protecting slower attackers from priority while Trick Room is active.
The offensive partners make that plan straightforward. Blastoise with Blastoisinite, Quiet nature, Fake Out, Water Spout, Aura Sphere, and Dark Pulse gives the team a Fake Out lead option plus heavy spread pressure. Camerupt with Cameruptite, Solid Rock, Quiet, Ancient Power, Heat Wave, Earth Power, and Protect fits naturally beside Farigiraf as another slow attacker that rewards Trick Room turns. Vanilluxe adds Snow Warning and Never-Melt Ice Blizzard pressure, with Ice Shard and Freeze-Dry giving it useful coverage and cleanup utility.
The team is not only slow mode, though. Choice Scarf Staraptor with Intimidate, Final Gambit, Brave Bird, Close Combat, and U-turn gives Jose a fast disruptive line that can remove key pieces or pivot into the slower core.
