| 2 | AleInt05 [IT] | 7-1-0 | Charizard, Meowscarada, Metagross, Hippowdon, Mimikyu, Garchomp |

Gabuu’s winning team combined immediate speed control, priority, and pivoting pressure. Metagross held Metagrossite with Clear Body and a Jolly nature, using Bullet Punch, Psychic Fangs, Hammer Arm, and Thunder Punch. That set gave the team a fast physical centerpiece with priority and broad coverage. Lopunny also carried Lopunnite, with Limber, Jolly, Mega Kick, Close Combat, Mach Punch, and Swords Dance, adding another priority user and a direct setup threat.
Hydreigon’s Choice Scarf set was an important piece of the structure. With Levitate, Modest, Dark Pulse, Draco Meteor, Fire Blast, and U-turn, it gave Gabuu a fast special attacker that could also keep momentum. Primarina filled a steadier role with Leftovers, Torrent, Bold, Surf, Moonblast, Flip Turn, and Protect, giving the team another pivot option while covering different defensive and offensive angles.
The last two slots pushed the team’s damage ceiling. Vanilluxe used Never-Melt Ice, Snow Warning, Modest, Blizzard, Freeze-Dry, Ice Shard, and Taunt, bringing strong Ice pressure and another priority move. Basculegion rounded out the roster with Mystic Water, Adaptability, Adamant, Wave Crash, Last Respects, Aqua Jet, and Flip Turn. Between Aqua Jet, Flip Turn, and Adaptability-boosted attacks, it fit the team’s theme of forcing trades while maintaining tempo.
Across the upper standings, Metagross was one of the clearest standouts. It appeared on three of the top four teams, all with Metagrossite and Clear Body, though the move choices varied between Bullet Punch, Psychic Fangs, Hammer Arm, Thunder Punch, Earthquake, Ice Punch, and Meteor Mash. Charizard with Charizardite Y also appeared in both AleInt05’s and BlazingCloud’s top-four teams, with another Charizardite Y showing up on PGX| El Atomico’s eighth-place team.
Choice Scarf was heavily represented near the top. Gabuu used it on Hydreigon, AleInt05 and BlazingCloud used it on Meowscarada, mspinguino used it on Ceruledge, and both penglin and PGX| El Atomico had Choice Scarf Basculegion outside the top four. Focus Sash was another common item, appearing on Garchomp, Gyarados, Glimmora, Meowscarada, Whimsicott, and Venusaur across the listed standings.
The one-line ladder takeaway: build with reliable priority, fast pivoting, and a clear Mega plan, because the best teams here repeatedly combined all three.
