Place Player Record Team
1 lylylysha 6-0-0 Incineroar, Volcarona, Sneasler, Sinistcha, Gyarados, Grimmsnarl
2 GewoonBas 4-2-0 Hisuian Arcanine, Scrafty, Volcarona, Sinistcha, Primarina, Mawile
3 bowsetti 3-2-0 Delphox, Raichu, Sneasler, Sinistcha, Gyarados, Gliscor
4 Nelias 3-2-0 Farigiraf, Torkoal, Sneasler, Sinistcha, Gardevoir, Mawile

lylylysha’s winning team was built around layered positioning tools and multiple ways to manage damage output. Incineroar and Gyarados both brought Intimidate, giving the team strong physical control, while Incineroar added Fake Out, Parting Shot, and Helping Hand. Grimmsnarl with Light Clay, Prankster, Reflect, Light Screen, and Parting Shot gave the team a second support backbone, making it difficult for opponents to take clean knockouts through screens and stat drops.

The offensive plan had several different modes. Volcarona used Leftovers with Heat Wave, Giga Drain, Quiver Dance, and Protect, giving lylylysha a setup threat that could pressure spread damage while staying on the field. Gyarados with Gyaradosite, Dragon Dance, Waterfall, Lash Out, and Protect offered another scaling win condition. Sneasler added Focus Sash, Fake Out, Close Combat, Poison Jab, and Quick Guard, giving the team fast disruption and immediate Fighting- and Poison-type pressure. Sinistcha rounded out the composition with Occa Berry, Hospitality, Matcha Gotcha, Rage Powder, Trick Room, and Protect, covering redirection, recovery support, and speed control from the opposite direction.

Across the top cut, Sinistcha was the defining common pick. All four top teams used it, usually as a support piece with Matcha Gotcha and some combination of Rage Powder, Trick Room, Protect, Strength Sap, Calm Mind, Shadow Ball, or Life Dew. Sneasler also appeared on three of the top four teams, with Fake Out and Close Combat showing up repeatedly, though its item and ability varied between Focus Sash / Poison Touch, Focus Sash / Pressure, and White Herb / Unburden.

Intimidate was another major trend. lylylysha used Incineroar and Gyarados, GewoonBas used Scrafty and Mawile, bowsetti used Gyarados, and Nelias used Mawile. The top teams clearly valued repeated attack drops alongside Fake Out pressure and redirection.

Several items also repeated. Focus Sash appeared on lylylysha’s Sneasler, GewoonBas’s Hisuian Arcanine, and bowsetti’s Sneasler. Sitrus Berry showed up on lylylysha’s Incineroar, GewoonBas’s Volcarona, bowsetti’s Gliscor, and Nelias’s Farigiraf. Occa Berry and Kasib Berry were both used on Sinistcha variants, reflecting how important keeping that support slot active was throughout the event.

Takeaway for ladder players: prepare for Sinistcha-centered positioning, Fake Out pressure, and Intimidate-heavy teams before loading into Regulation Set M-B.
