Altkyle’s winning build was a rain-leaning balance team with multiple speed-control layers and strong Mega pressure. Pelipper supplied Drizzle, Focus Sash reliability, Tailwind, and rain-boosted Weather Ball, while Basculegion carried Choice Scarf with Adaptability to threaten immediate damage through Wave Crash and clean later with Last Respects. That core gave the team a direct way to pressure opposing offense without needing much setup.
The Mega slots were also important. Dragonite used Dragoninite with Inner Focus and a Modest special set of Dragon Pulse, Flamethrower, Tailwind, and Protect, giving the team a second Tailwind option and a Dragon-type attacker that was not forced into physical lines. Scizor added Scizorite, Technician, Bullet Punch, Close Combat, Swords Dance, and Protect, giving Altkyle a priority endgame plan that did not rely on rain being active. Archaludon with Chople Berry, Stamina, Electro Shot, Dragon Pulse, Aura Sphere, and Protect fit naturally next to Pelipper, while Incineroar rounded the six out with Sitrus Berry, Intimidate, Fake Out, Flare Blitz, Throat Chop, and Parting Shot.
