ScarletSkil’s winning team combined immediate pressure, positioning tools, and several ways to punish physical attackers. Staraptor carried Staraptite with Intimidate, using Close Combat, Brave Bird, Roost, and Protect, while Incineroar added a second Intimidate source with Sitrus Berry, Flare Blitz, Parting Shot, Throat Chop, and Fake Out. That pairing gave the team strong early-game control and repeatable pivoting.
The offensive core was straightforward but difficult to ignore. Kingambit used Black Glasses with Defiant, Kowtow Cleave, Sucker Punch, Swords Dance, and Protect, giving ScarletSkil a late-game threat that also punished Intimidate-heavy opponents. Garchomp added Life Orb damage with Rough Skin, Dragon Claw, Earthquake, Rock Slide, and Protect, covering both single-target and spread pressure. Froslass brought Froslassite, Cursed Body, Blizzard, Shadow Ball, Aurora Veil, and Protect, giving the team a fast special attacker with team-wide mitigation through Aurora Veil. Toxapex rounded the six out with Leftovers, Regenerator, Infestation, Wide Guard, Toxic, and Baneful Bunker, offering a much slower control piece that could deny spread attacks and extend games.
Several trends stood out across the upper standings. Kingambit and Garchomp were both present on the top two teams, and also appeared on Irfanf’s and Patrick Julian’s teams in the top eight. Charizard with Charizardite Y appeared on Osada, Irfanf, aceazka, and Patrick Julian, making it one of the most visible offensive weather pieces.
