Tabook’s winning team was a direct offensive build with multiple layers of speed control and priority. Whimsicott held Focus Sash with Prankster, using Tailwind, Encore, Moonblast, and Protect to create early positioning and punish passive turns. That support enabled a strong physical core of Kingambit, Basculegion, and Garchomp.

Kingambit used Black Glasses, Defiant, and an Adamant nature with Kowtow Cleave, Sucker Punch, Iron Head, and Protect. This gave Tabook reliable Dark-type damage and priority without sacrificing defensive flexibility. Basculegion filled a similar late-game pressure role with Mystic Water, Adaptability, Wave Crash, Last Respects, Aqua Jet, and Protect. Between Sucker Punch and Aqua Jet, the team had multiple ways to close games after Tailwind turns expired.

Garchomp added Life Orb pressure with Rough Skin, a Jolly nature, Dragon Claw, Rock Slide, Earthquake, and Protect. Charizard with Charizardite Y and Blaze supplied special spread pressure through Heat Wave and weather-based coverage with Weather Ball and Solar Beam. Eternal Flower Floette rounded out the six with Floettite, Flower Veil, Moonblast, Dazzling Gleam, Light of Ruin, and Protect, giving the team another special Fairy-type attacker alongside the physical-heavy core.

The main contrast came from Amoney5’s runner-up rain structure, built around Pelipper with Drizzle, Sableye with Light Clay and Prankster screens, Archaludon with Leftovers and Stamina, and Swampert with Swampertite.
