| 2 | Ryan Pareja [PH] | 7-1-0 | Rillaboom, Vivillon, Incineroar, Primarina, Gengar, Garchomp |

| 4 | Mohammad Libao [PH] | 5-2-0 | Raichu, Garchomp, Rillaboom, Primarina, Gholdengo, Incineroar |
The winning team was built around direct pressure with several ways to control pace. Garchomp used Choice Scarf with Rough Skin and an Adamant nature, giving the team immediate attacking speed with Dragon Claw, Rock Slide, Earthquake, and Stomping Tantrum. Whimsicott supplied the main speed support with Focus Sash, Prankster, Tailwind, Encore, Moonblast, and Protect, letting the offense choose between natural Choice Scarf pressure and Tailwind turns.
Kingambit gave the team a bulky priority threat with Chople Berry, Defiant, Kowtow Cleave, Sucker Punch, Iron Head, and Protect. Basculegion added Life Orb Adaptability damage with Wave Crash, Aqua Jet, Last Respects, and Protect, giving the team another priority option through Aqua Jet. Eternal Flower Floette was the dedicated special attacker with Floettite, Flower Veil, Moonblast, Dazzling Gleam, Light of Ruin, and Protect. Charizard rounded out the composition with Charizardite Y, Blaze, Heat Wave, Weather Ball, Solar Beam, and Protect, giving the team a strong spread-attacking mode next to Whimsicott’s Tailwind.
The clearest trend near the top was Garchomp. All of the top four teams used it, but with different approaches: Vinz used Choice Scarf Garchomp, while Ryan Pareja and Mohammad Libao both used Garchompite Z special sets with Draco Meteor, Earth Power or Flamethrower, and Power Gem. Garchomp also appeared further down the standings, reinforcing it as one of the defining picks of this event.
Another repeated structure was Fake Out plus bulky positioning. Ryan and Mohammad both used Rillaboom and Incineroar, with Rillaboom carrying Miracle Seed, Grassy Surge, Grassy Glide, Fake Out, and Protect on both teams. Primarina also appeared on both of those teams, though with different items: Sitrus Berry on Ryan’s Perish Song version and Leftovers on Mohammad’s Calm Mind version.
Whimsicott, Charizard, and Kingambit formed another notable cluster across the top eight. Vinz, Jarred Perico, and Christopher Aduviso all used Whimsicott with Focus Sash, Prankster, Tailwind, Encore, Moonblast, and Protect. Charizardite Y appeared on all three of those teams, and Chople Berry Kingambit showed up alongside them as well.
Takeaway for ladder players: prepare for Garchomp first, then make sure your team has a concrete plan into Tailwind Charizard and Fake Out balance cores.
