Pavan’s team was built around a very stable balance shell with multiple ways to control positioning. Incineroar with Chople Berry, Intimidate, Fake Out, and Parting Shot gave the team standard pivoting and damage mitigation, while Rillaboom added Grassy Surge, Miracle Seed pressure, Fake Out, U-turn, and priority through Grassy Glide. That pair created repeated opportunities to bring in the team’s more specialized threats safely.
Camerupt was the most defining attacker on the winning roster. With Cameruptite, Solid Rock, Quiet nature, and a moveset of Heat Wave, Earth Power, Ancient Power, and Protect, it fit naturally next to Farigiraf. Farigiraf’s Sitrus Berry, Armor Tail, Trick Room, Helping Hand, and Protect gave Camerupt both speed control and damage amplification. Armor Tail also helped the team operate without being as vulnerable to priority disruption.
Raichu also stood out as a key support-offense piece. Raichunite Y with Lightning Rod, Timid nature, Zap Cannon, Focus Blast, Fake Out, and Protect gave Pavan another Fake Out user and an Electric immunity redirection tool. Sylveon rounded the team out with Fairy Feather, Pixilate, Hyper Voice, Moonblast, Calm Mind, and Detect, providing spread Fairy pressure and a potential setup angle when the board was stabilized.
Across the top cut of the standings, Rillaboom was the clearest recurring Pokemon. It appeared on each of the top six teams, most often with Miracle Seed, Grassy Surge, Wood Hammer, Grassy Glide, Fake Out, and U-turn. Incineroar was also heavily represented, appearing on the 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 6th place teams, usually carrying Fake Out and Parting Shot. The repeated pairing of Rillaboom and Incineroar shows how valuable flexible pivoting remained in this Regulation Set M-C field.
Raichu with Raichunite Y appeared on three of the top five teams, always with Lightning Rod, Timid nature, Zap Cannon, Focus Blast, Fake Out, and Protect in the listed teams. Kingambit and Annihilape were also notable recurring physical threats, while Primarina appeared multiple times as a Liquid Voice Hyper Voice attacker.
Takeaway for ladder players: reliable Fake Out pivots, priority control, and one well-supported Mega attacker were the defining ingredients at the top of this event.
