| Place | Player | Record | Team |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | aerxdri [BR] | 7-1-0 | Raichu, Basculegion, Hisuian Arcanine, Sinistcha, Alolan Ninetales, Lucario |
| 2 | Lordao [BR] | 5-3-0 | Scizor, Politoed, Farigiraf, Pawmot, Kingambit, Gliscor |
| 3 | Zoro_Sola [BR] | 5-2-0 | Kingambit, Basculegion, Raichu, Scovillain, Gallade, Sneasler |
| 4 | erichmr [BR] | 4-3-0 | Raichu, Froslass, Tsareena, Kleavor, Sneasler, Gholdengo |
aerxdri’s winning team leaned on immediate pressure with several ways to control positioning. Raichu with Raichunite Y, Lightning Rod, Fake Out, Zap Cannon, Focus Blast, and Protect gave the team disruption plus Electric redirection utility. Basculegion was a direct damage threat with Life Orb, Adaptability, Wave Crash, Last Respects, and Aqua Jet, while Hisuian Arcanine used Focus Sash alongside Rock Head, Head Smash, Flare Blitz, and Extreme Speed to keep offensive pressure high even when trading aggressively.
The support structure was also important. Sinistcha brought Hospitality and Rage Powder, plus Matcha Gotcha and Shadow Ball, giving the team redirection and recovery support around its attackers. Alolan Ninetales used Choice Scarf with Snow Warning, carrying Blizzard, Icy Wind, Moonblast, and Fake Tears, which gave aerxdri speed interaction and special damage support. Lucario rounded out the six with Lucarionite Z, Inner Focus, Nasty Plot, Aura Sphere, Flash Cannon, and Detect, offering a setup angle that could punish passive turns.
Across the top teams, Raichu was one of the clearest standouts. It appeared on the first-, third-, and fourth-place teams, always with Raichunite Y, and all three sets carried Zap Cannon, Focus Blast, and Protect. Basculegion also showed up near the top, appearing on aerxdri’s winning team and Zoro_Sola’s third-place team, with DARKTUGA also using it in fifth. Adaptability was consistent on all listed Basculegion sets, though items varied between Life Orb and Choice Scarf.
Priority and Fake Out were common tools. aerxdri had Fake Out on Raichu, Lordao used Fake Out on Pawmot, Zoro_Sola had Fake Out on Raichu and Sneasler, and erichmr carried Fake Out on Sneasler. Focus Sash was another repeated item among top-four teams, appearing on Hisuian Arcanine, Pawmot, Sneasler, and Kleavor. Life Orb was similarly present on major attackers, including Basculegion, Gliscor, Gallade, and Gholdengo.
Other repeated structures included Kingambit with Chople Berry and Defiant on both Lordao’s and Zoro_Sola’s teams, and Sneasler with Unburden on the third- and fourth-place teams. The top cut of standings also showed multiple special evolution items in use, including Raichunite Y, Lucarionite Z, Scizorite, Scovillainite, and Froslassite.
Takeaway for ladder players: prepare for Raichunite Y teams with Fake Out pressure, fast damage, and redirection support.
