| Place | Player | Record | Team |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | TypNull07 [AT] | 4-0-0 | Volcarona, Incineroar, Rillaboom, Raichu, Alolan Ninetales, Staraptor |
| 2 | HeiseM [PE] | 4-0-0 | Raichu, Staraptor, Gholdengo, Primarina, Rillaboom, Hisuian Arcanine |
| 3 | Tongo 21 [ES] | 3-1-0 | Charizard, Garchomp, Venusaur, Pelipper, Archaludon, Grimmsnarl |
| 4 | ChrisYoshi [US] | 3-1-0 | Golisopod, Archaludon, Politoed, Grimmsnarl, Farigiraf, Lopunny |
TypNull07’s winning team leaned on layered support around a clear setup threat. Volcarona carried Grassy Seed with Flame Body and a Modest nature, using Fiery Dance, Giga Drain, Quiver Dance, and Protect. Rillaboom’s Grassy Surge enables the Grassy Seed interaction while also adding Miracle Seed-boosted Wood Hammer and Grassy Glide, plus Fake Out and High Horsepower.
The support structure was dense. Incineroar brought Sitrus Berry, Intimidate, Fake Out, and Parting Shot, giving the team standard positioning tools. Staraptor added a second Intimidate user with Staraptite, Brave Bird, Close Combat, Tailwind, and Protect, giving TypNull07 both damage and speed control. Alolan Ninetales supplied Snow Warning with Light Clay, Aurora Veil, Charm, and Encore, adding another way to reduce incoming pressure. Raichu rounded out the composition with Raichunite Y, Lightning Rod, Fake Out, Zap Cannon, Focus Blast, and Protect.
The result is a team that can play multiple forms of tempo control at once: Fake Out from Incineroar, Rillaboom, and Raichu; Intimidate from Incineroar and Staraptor; Tailwind from Staraptor; and Aurora Veil from Alolan Ninetales. That support gives Volcarona room to use Quiver Dance, while the rest of the team still has immediate attacking options.
Across the top teams, Raichu and Staraptor stood out early, appearing on both undefeated teams. Both TypNull07 and HeiseM used Raichu with Raichunite Y, Lightning Rod, Timid, Fake Out, Zap Cannon, Focus Blast, and Protect, while both also used Staraptor with Staraptite, Intimidate, Tailwind, Close Combat, Brave Bird, and Protect.
Choice Scarf Garchomp was another major trend, appearing on Tongo 21, emanuele12340, NervoX, Quewin2406, and PokeReplay. Charizard, Venusaur, and Garchomp also formed a repeated structure on Tongo 21, emanuele12340, and PokeReplay, with Charizardite Y, Chlorophyll Venusaur, and Choice Scarf Garchomp all present. Rain-based structures were also represented: Tongo 21 and NervoX used Pelipper, while ChrisYoshi used Politoed, and all three paired their Drizzle setter with Leftovers Archaludon.
For ladder players, the main takeaway is that Regulation Set M-C rewarded teams with overlapping disruption, speed control, and a reliable plan for enabling their main damage dealer.
