โœจ๐Ÿ‘‘ King's Gambit #11 | Reg M-C ๐Ÿ‘‘โœจ recap

King's Gambit #11 was a 45-player online Pokemon Champions Regulation Set M-C event played on Limitless on 2026-10-18. Agodiluggo finished first at 8-1-0, closing the final round with wins over lexalyn and aaroncito_4, while CloudDino also picked up a listed final-round win over ventusvgcita.

Place Player Record Team
1 Agodiluggo [IT] 8-1-0 Raichu, Volcarona, Rillaboom, Incineroar, Basculegion, Eternal Flower Floette
2 Alexandrite Crystalline [PH] 6-3-0 Metagross, Blaziken, Basculegion, Garchomp, Rillaboom, Salamence
3 Silo [IT] 6-2-0 Raichu, Rillaboom, Gholdengo, Hisuian Arcanine, Staraptor, Primarina
4 CloudDino [GB] 5-3-0 Rillaboom, Dragapult, Glimmora, Kingambit, Volcarona, Basculegion

Agodiluggoโ€™s winning team is built around layered positioning and multiple forms of immediate pressure. Raichu with Raichunite Y, Lightning Rod, Fake Out, Zap Cannon, Focus Blast, and Protect gives the team a fast disruption slot that also threatens damage. Rillaboom and Incineroar create a familiar double-Fake Out backbone, with Grassy Surge plus Miracle Seed boosting Rillaboomโ€™s Wood Hammer and Grassy Glide, while Incineroar adds Intimidate, Sitrus Berry, Flare Blitz, Throat Chop, and Parting Shot.

The damage profile is not one-dimensional. Volcarona runs Leftovers with Heat Wave, Struggle Bug, Quiver Dance, and Protect, giving Agodiluggo a setup-oriented special attacker that can also reduce opposing special damage. Basculegion is the teamโ€™s speed-control answer through Choice Scarf, using Adaptability with Wave Crash, Last Respects, Aqua Jet, and Flip Turn. Eternal Flower Floette rounds out the six with Floettite, Flower Veil, Moonblast, Dazzling Gleam, Calm Mind, and Protect, adding another Calm Mind-style win condition alongside Volcaronaโ€™s Quiver Dance.

Across the top cut of the standings, Rillaboom was the defining constant. It appeared on each of the top eight teams, most often with Miracle Seed and Grassy Surge. The exception in the listed top eight was VentusVGCitaโ€™s Eject Button Rillaboom, but the broader pattern was clear: Fake Out, Grassy Glide, and Wood Hammer were central tools throughout the event.

Basculegion was also prominent near the top, appearing on the first, second, and fourth-place teams. Agodiluggo used Choice Scarf, while Alexandrite Crystalline and CloudDino both used Life Orb Adaptability sets with Last Respects, Wave Crash, Aqua Jet, and Protect. Raichu was another important repeat, appearing on the first, third, fifth, and sixth-place teams, with Raichunite Y on three of those teams and Raichunite X on VentusVGCitaโ€™s team.

Incineroar remained a major support presence, showing up on five of the top eight teams with Intimidate and Fake Out-oriented sets. Volcarona also had multiple strong finishes, including Agodiluggoโ€™s Leftovers Quiver Dance version and Rocky Helmet support variants from CloudDino and Pelopunki. Garchomp appeared repeatedly as well, with Alexandrite Crystalline, Pelopunki, Aaroncito_4, and OsaeGunDM all using it in different item configurations.

Takeaway for ladder players: start your Regulation Set M-C testing by respecting Rillaboom plus Fake Out structures, then make sure your team has a concrete plan for Basculegion and Raichu variants.
