Øutcasts' Saturday Night #2 [1st: Shiny Garchomp] results

Øutcasts' Saturday Night #2 [1st: Shiny Garchomp] was played on Limitless on 2026-10-17, with 31 players competing in Pokemon Champions Regulation Set M-C. The final round results listed were localcringemain over zon, dakoite over jjayy09, and zon over cbreezy23. At the top of the standings, Eden Lau [SG] finished first at 7-1-0.

Place Player Record Team
1 Eden Lau [SG] 7-1-0 Garchomp, Basculegion, Sneasler, Delphox, Kingambit, Dragonite
2 Bryan Crisostomo [PH] 6-2-0 Charizard, Farigiraf, Incineroar, Sylveon, Venusaur, Garchomp
3 Jason Patrick Castaneda [PH] 6-1-0 Charizard, Garchomp, Archaludon, Pelipper, Venusaur, Grimmsnarl
4 Erik Bosch [NL] 5-2-0 Raichu, Garchomp, Gholdengo, Sylveon, Rillaboom, Hisuian Arcanine

Eden’s winning team is built around strong immediate positioning tools and layered offense. Garchomp carried Choice Scarf with Rough Skin and Adamant, using Dragon Claw, Stomping Tantrum, Earthquake, and Rock Slide to apply fast pressure without needing setup. That gave the team a reliable opener into many board states while also pairing naturally with Dragonite’s Tailwind support.

The rest of the composition covers several tempo angles. Sneasler had Focus Sash, Poison Touch, Fake Out, and Feint, giving Eden both disruption and a way to punish Protect lines. Basculegion used Sitrus Berry with Adaptability, Wave Crash, Last Respects, Aqua Jet, and Protect, adding strong Water damage and priority. Delphox with Delphoxite provided Heat Wave, Psychic, Encore, and Protect, while Kingambit’s Occa Berry set brought Defiant, Kowtow Cleave, Iron Head, Sucker Punch, and Low Kick. Dragonite rounded the team out with Dragoninite, Inner Focus, a Modest nature, Dragon Pulse, Heat Wave, Tailwind, and Protect.

Garchomp was the defining presence near the top. The top four all used Garchomp, and it appeared in each of the top seven teams. The item choice split cleanly: Eden, Bryan Crisostomo, Erik Bosch, and Jayden Lau used Choice Scarf Garchomp, while Jason Patrick Castaneda, Christopher Yoris, and Cadel Rojo used Garchompite Z. Rough Skin was consistent on every listed Garchomp.

Charizardite Y also had a strong showing, appearing on Bryan Crisostomo’s, Jason Patrick Castaneda’s, and Jayden Lau’s Charizard. Venusaur appeared alongside Charizard on the second- and third-place teams, both with Focus Sash, Chlorophyll, Sleep Powder, Sludge Bomb, Leaf Storm, and Protect. Meanwhile, Raichunite Y showed up on Erik Bosch, Christopher Yoris, and Cadel Rojo, with Raichu providing Lightning Rod and fast utility.

Several support patterns repeated across the standings. Fake Out was common on Sneasler, Incineroar, Raichu, Rillaboom, and Meowstic ♀. Sitrus Berry appeared on Basculegion, Farigiraf, Pelipper, and multiple Incineroar sets, while Miracle Seed Rillaboom and Life Orb Gholdengo were shared by the fourth-, fifth-, and seventh-place teams. Tailwind was also spread across different roles, including Dragonite, Pelipper, and Volcarona.

Takeaway for ladder players: prepare for Garchomp first, then make sure your team has a concrete plan for Fake Out pressure and Charizardite Y offense.
