⛩️Chadweezy95 VGC Champions Tournament Ep 27!⛩️ results recap

The ⛩️Chadweezy95 VGC Champions Tournament Ep 27!⛩️ was a 20-player online event on Limitless, played on 2026-10-06 under Pokemon Champions Regulation Set M-C. RyukeiVGC [IT] finished first at 7-1-0, closing the event after the listed final-round sequence of tore over szuszelx, yukimoth over tore, and ryukeivgc over yukimoth.

Place Player Record Team
1 RyukeiVGC [IT] 7-1-0 Gholdengo / Sneasler / Eternal Flower Floette / Dragonite / Incineroar / Rillaboom
2 yukimoth [IT] 5-3-0 Froslass / Incineroar / Basculegion / Garchomp / Rillaboom / Volcarona
3 Tore [IT] 5-2-0 Gardevoir / Incineroar / Indeedee ♀ / Torkoal / Sneasler / Basculegion
4 PapaRott [US] 4-3-0 Meganium / Metagross / Indeedee / Politoed / Vivillon / Sneasler

RyukeiVGC’s winning team is built around layered pressure rather than a single obvious mode. Incineroar and Rillaboom give the roster two Fake Out users, with Intimidate, Parting Shot, Grassy Surge, and Grassy Glide providing the familiar positioning tools that let the more threatening attackers find turns. Gholdengo is the clearest special win condition, holding Life Orb with Good as Gold and carrying Shadow Ball, Protect, Nasty Plot, and Make It Rain. That set threatens to snowball quickly if the opponent gives it a free turn.

Sneasler adds immediate physical pressure with White Herb, Unburden, Close Combat, Gunk Shot, Rock Tomb, and Protect. The combination of Close Combat plus White Herb keeps it from immediately losing defensive stats on the first attack, while Unburden offers a clear speed payoff once the item is consumed. Dragonite’s set is also notable: Dragoninite with Inner Focus, Modest, Heat Wave, Dragon Pulse, Tailwind, and Protect gives the team speed control without giving up special coverage. Eternal Flower Floette rounds out the structure as a setup and Fairy-type attacker, using Floettite, Flower Veil, Calm Mind, Draining Kiss, Dazzling Gleam, and Protect.

Across the top teams, Incineroar remained a major stabilizing pick. It appeared on each of the top three teams, and all three used Sitrus Berry, Intimidate, Fake Out, Flare Blitz, and Parting Shot. Rillaboom was also prominent, appearing on the first, second, sixth, and seventh-place teams, with Miracle Seed showing up on RyukeiVGC, yukimoth, and Kinw. Sneasler was the most repeated offensive piece in the posted standings, appearing on six of the top eight teams with several item approaches: White Herb, Psychic Seed, and Grassy Seed all showed up.

Basculegion was another recurring attacker, appearing on yukimoth, Tore, and okaydeku, and all three used Choice Scarf with Adaptability. Weather also had a presence near the top: Tore used Torkoal with Drought, PapaRott used Politoed with Drizzle, and okaydeku used Pelipper with Drizzle. Psychic Surge teams also appeared in different forms through Indeedee ♀ on Tore’s Trick Room team and Indeedee on PapaRott’s fourth-place team.

Takeaway for ladder players: reliable positioning from Fake Out, terrain, and pivoting still gives setup attackers and fast Choice Scarf threats the turns they need.
