Trinity Championship 15 (Double Format) results recap

Trinity Championship 15 was a 69-player online event on Limitless, played in Pokemon Champions Regulation Set M-C. RiccardoDA7 [IT] finished first at 8-2-0, with the final round results including riccardoda7 over xen007, davidvillamusic over aaravos, and aaravos over bartho.

Place Player Record Team
1 RiccardoDA7 [IT] 8-2-0 Espathra, Garchomp, Charizard, Venusaur, Politoed, Archaludon
2 Maze_vgc [FR] 7-3-0 Incineroar, Rillaboom, Eternal Flower Floette, Gholdengo, Sneasler, Dragonite
3 Davidvillamusic [AR] 7-2-0 Incineroar, Kingambit, Sinistcha, Sneasler, Eternal Flower Floette, Delphox
4 KST | KAMPFI [DE] 6-3-0 Eternal Flower Floette, Sneasler, Incineroar, Sinistcha, Kingambit, Garchomp

RiccardoDA7’s winning team was built around layered speed and weather pressure rather than a single linear mode. Espathra held Focus Sash with Speed Boost and carried Protect, Baton Pass, Calm Mind, and Lumina Crash, giving the team a flexible opening piece that could either threaten boosts or pass momentum into a partner. Garchomp with Garchompite Z, Rough Skin, and a special attacking set of Draco Meteor, Earth Power, and Power Gem gave the composition a strong non-physical damage profile.

The weather section was especially notable. Charizard used Charizardite Y with Protect, Weather Ball, Heat Wave, and Hurricane, while Venusaur paired Life Orb and Chlorophyll with Energy Ball, Sludge Bomb, and Sleep Powder. Politoed added Drizzle, Sitrus Berry, Helping Hand, Ice Beam, and Weather Ball, giving the team another weather setter and a support option. Archaludon rounded out the six with Leftovers, Stamina, Protect, Snarl, Aura Sphere, and Electro Shot, bringing a bulk-oriented piece that could also interact well with the team’s weather structure.

Across the top tables, Eternal Flower Floette was one of the clearest trends. Maze_vgc, davidvillamusic, and KST | KAMPFI all used Eternal Flower Floette with Floettite, Flower Veil, Calm Mind, Draining Kiss, Dazzling Gleam, and Protect appearing across those sets. That made it a defining pick among the top four, especially as a setup threat that still fits naturally beside standard doubles support.

Incineroar was also heavily represented near the top. The second-, third-, and fourth-place teams all used Incineroar with Sitrus Berry and Intimidate, and each included Fake Out plus pivoting through Parting Shot. Sneasler was another repeated piece, appearing on teams from second through fifth, with Focus Sash, White Herb, and Unburden or Poison Touch variants all present. Kingambit showed up on davidvillamusic, KST | KAMPFI, and Aquaaa, most commonly with Defiant and Sucker Punch.

For ladder players, the takeaway is clear: Regulation Set M-C rewards teams that combine proactive setup with reliable Fake Out, redirection, and flexible speed control.
