CHAMPIONS REG. M-C CROWN FIGHT Bo3 TOUR #88 results

CHAMPIONS REG. M-C |๐Ÿ‘‘CROWN FIGHT Bo3 TOUR #88๐Ÿ‘‘ was an 88-player online Pokemon Champions Regulation Set M-C event played on Limitless on 2026-10-02. Koalelu won the final round match over MatRodny, finishing first at 9-1-0.

Place Player Record Team
1 Koalelu [US] 9-1-0 Pelipper, Venusaur, Archaludon, Charizard, Annihilape, Swampert
2 MatRodny [US] 8-2-0 Kingambit, Volcarona, Rillaboom, Lucario, Ditto, Garchomp
3 SolisFcb [ES] 7-2-0 Raichu, Garchomp, Incineroar, Rillaboom, Volcarona, Gholdengo
4 Altkyle [GB] 6-3-0 Dragonite, Annihilape, Raichu, Gholdengo, Hisuian Arcanine, Rillaboom

Koaleluโ€™s winning team was built around layered speed and weather pressure. Pelipper was the most direct enabler, using Sitrus Berry with Drizzle, Tailwind, Wide Guard, Hurricane, and Weather Ball. That set gave the team speed control, spread-move protection, and immediate weather-based offense. Venusaur added Focus Sash and Chlorophyll with Sleep Powder, Leaf Storm, Sludge Bomb, and Protect, giving Koalelu a fast disruption option that could also threaten real damage.

The rest of the team kept the pressure broad. Archaludon used Leftovers, Stamina, Electro Shot, Draco Meteor, Snarl, and Protect, offering a bulky special attacker with defensive utility through Snarl. Charizard carried Charizardite Y with Heat Wave, Weather Ball, Ancient Power, and Protect, adding another weather-focused attacker. Swampert with Swampertite, Wave Crash, Earthquake, Ice Punch, and Protect gave the composition a physical Mega option, while Choice Scarf Annihilape with Defiant, Close Combat, Shadow Claw, Ice Punch, and Rock Slide provided immediate speed and coverage. The final result was not a one-note weather team; it had multiple modes and could pivot between Tailwind, fast Sleep Powder pressure, spread attacks, and strong physical cleanup.

Across the top cut, several patterns stood out. Rillaboom was prominent, appearing on MatRodnyโ€™s runner-up team, SolisFcbโ€™s third-place team, Altkyleโ€™s fourth-place team, and both Nepolkyz and LeonnXR in the lower top 8. Most of those Rillaboom sets used Grassy Surge with Fake Out, Wood Hammer, and Grassy Glide, often with Miracle Seed.

Raichu with Raichunite Y also showed up repeatedly, appearing on SolisFcb, Altkyle, Nepolkyz, and LeonnXR. Those sets consistently used Lightning Rod, Fake Out, Zap Cannon, Focus Blast, and Protect. Gholdengo was another repeated special attacker, appearing on SolisFcb, Altkyle, Nepolkyz, and LeonnXR, usually with Life Orb, Good as Gold, Make It Rain, Shadow Ball, Nasty Plot, and Protect.

There was also a clear cluster of similar balance structures in the top 8: Rillaboom plus Raichu plus Gholdengo appeared multiple times, often alongside Incineroar, Salamence, Sneasler, or Hisuian Arcanine. Volcarona was present on both second and third, using Rocky Helmet and Flame Body, with Rage Powder and Struggle Bug utility.

Takeaway for ladder players: prepare for flexible speed control and recurring Fake Out cores, but also respect weather teams that can attack from several angles.
