Bef’s winning team was built around overlapping speed control and several ways to force advantageous board states. Torkoal supplied Drought and heavy Fire pressure with Charcoal-boosted Eruption, Weather Ball, and Heat Wave, while Venusaur converted that sun into immediate speed through Chlorophyll and Life Orb attacks in Leaf Storm, Sludge Bomb, and Weather Ball. That gave the team a clear fast mode without relying on setup.

The slower mode came from Farigiraf, whose Armor Tail and Trick Room gave Bef a way to reverse speed dynamics. Farigiraf also carried Helping Hand, letting partners like Torkoal, Venusaur, or Barbaracle push damage when positioned correctly. Vivillon added disruptive support with Rage Powder and Sleep Powder, backed by Focus Sash and Compound Eyes, giving the team a practical way to protect setup or buy turns.

The most distinctive piece was Barbaracle with Barbaracite, Tough Claws, and Shell Smash. Alongside Close Combat, Rock Slide, and Protect, it gave Bef a physical win condition that could threaten quickly once supported. Kangaskhan rounded things out with Kangaskhanite, Fake Out, Double-Edge, Hammer Arm, and Ice Punch, adding immediate tempo and broad coverage.

Across the rest of the top cut, sand was the clearest repeated structure.
