PugBurro’s winning team was built around a clear Psychic Terrain and Trick Room identity. Indeedee ♀ supplied Psychic Surge, Psychic Seed, Follow Me, Helping Hand, and Trick Room, giving the team both positioning and speed control. Armarouge and Hatterene both carried Expanding Force and Trick Room, making the Psychic mode redundant rather than dependent on one setter. Armarouge also added Heat Wave and Wide Guard, while Hatterene brought Life Orb, Dazzling Gleam, and Protect.
The rest of the team supported that slower, high-pressure game plan. Torkoal with Charcoal and Drought offered Eruption, Weather Ball, Earth Power, and Protect, giving PugBurro a strong special attacker under Trick Room. Incineroar used White Herb with Intimidate, Fake Out, Flare Blitz, Darkest Lariat, and Close Combat, giving the team immediate board control and physical coverage. Golisopod rounded out the six with Golisopite, Leech Life, Iron Head, Rock Slide, and Close Combat, adding another Brave-natured attacker that fits the team’s low-speed structure.
Across the top teams, Fake Out was a major common thread. Incineroar appeared on the top two teams and again in fifth, while Rillaboom appeared on Silverland, Lartizan, WoulVGC, Theoden, and ProfSkarmoryYT. Those Rillaboom sets consistently paired Grassy Surge with Fake Out and Grassy Glide, though items varied between Eject Button, Sitrus Berry, and Miracle Seed.
There was also a noticeable split between Trick Room and Tailwind structures. PugBurro leaned heavily into Trick Room with Indeedee ♀, Armarouge, and Hatterene, while Hirseknabe used Farigiraf with Trick Room alongside Aerodactyl with Tailwind. Gengar with Gengarite and Perish Song was used by Silverland and WoulVGC, while Archaludon with Leftovers and Stamina appeared on WoulVGC and ProfSkarmoryYT.
