Andan1015’s winning team stood out for how many modes it could present without giving up direct pressure. Salamence with Salamencite, Intimidate, Draco Meteor, Hyper Voice, Tailwind, and Protect gave the team a fast-positioning option, while Gardevoir with Gardevoirite, Hyper Voice, Trick Room, Expanding Force, and Protect created a second route through slower board states. That pairing meant the team was not locked into one speed plan.
Indeedee ♀ was the key glue piece. Psychic Surge supported the Psychic Seed Sneasler, while Follow Me and Helping Hand gave the team clear ways to enable its attackers. Sneasler’s Unburden set with Dire Claw, Acrobatics, Close Combat, and Protect could punish teams once activated, while Gholdengo added a strong special win condition with Life Orb, Make It Rain, Shadow Ball, Nasty Plot, and Protect. Incineroar rounded the six out with the familiar combination of Sitrus Berry, Intimidate, Fake Out, Parting Shot, Flare Blitz, and Darkest Lariat, giving Andan1015 another way to control positioning.
Across the top teams, Incineroar remained one of the defining support picks. It appeared on the first three teams, and also showed up in the fifth and sixth-place teams. Sitrus Berry Incineroar was used by both Andan1015 and GabriBrick, while Passho Berry appeared on oatmeal and Zach K.
Archaludon was another major trend near the top. GabriBrick, oatmeal, KaitoKunnnnn, and Zach K all used Leftovers Archaludon with Stamina, with Electro Shot appearing on each of those sets. Rain structures were also prominent: Pelipper supported GabriBrick’s Swampert, while Politoed appeared on oatmeal, KaitoKunnnnn, and Zach K. Swampert with Swampertite placed second and fifth.
Gengarite Gengar was also represented in second, third, and fifth, with oatmeal and Zach K both running Perish Song sets. Rillaboom was common just outside the top four as well, appearing on oatmeal, Zach K, TheGreatestDad, Pneucreve, and Lewlo, often paired with Fake Out and Grassy Glide.
Takeaway for ladder players: prepare for flexible speed control, Incineroar positioning, and the repeated Archaludon rain cores that shaped the top cut.
