The winning team was built around layered speed control and strong board positioning. Salamence with Salamencite, Intimidate, Tailwind, Hyper Voice, Draco Meteor, and Protect gave The_Andrw a fast pressure piece that could also soften physical attackers. Tyranitar with Tyranitarite and Sand Stream paired directly with Focus Sash Excadrill, whose Sand Rush, High Horsepower, Iron Head, Rock Slide, and Protect gave the team a clear sand-based offensive mode.
Rillaboom was the stabilizer, using Miracle Seed, Grassy Surge, Fake Out, Grassy Glide, Wood Hammer, and Protect to give the team priority pressure and reliable disruption. Milotic was a notable inclusion beside multiple Intimidate users in the field: Grassy Seed, Competitive, Coil, Scald, Hypnosis, and Recover made it a bulky piece that could punish stat drops and stay on the board.
