LawrenceVGC’s winning team was built around flexible speed control, strong spread pressure, and multiple late-game priority options. Whimsicott held Focus Sash with Prankster and the expected Tailwind, Encore, Moonblast, and Protect, giving the team a fast way to set tempo and punish passive turns. Eternal Flower Floette used Floettite with Flower Veil and a Modest attacking set of Moonblast, Dazzling Gleam, Light of Ruin, and Protect, adding a major Fairy-type damage source beside Whimsicott.

The physical side of the team was just as direct. Basculegion carried Life Orb, Adaptability, and Adamant with Wave Crash, Last Respects, Aqua Jet, and Protect, making it both a hard-hitting attacker and a priority threat.
