|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | X2Muz [US] | 8-0-0 | Charizard, Garchomp, Whimsicott, Basculegion, Kingambit, Eternal Flower Floette |
| 2 | Hrishi | 6-2-0 | Scovillain, Aerodactyl, Garchomp, Basculegion, Kingambit, Sylveon |

X2Muzโs winning team combined immediate pressure, speed control, and multiple priority endgames. Charizard with Charizardite Y carried Heat Wave, Solar Beam, Weather Ball, and Protect, giving the team a strong special attacker that could pressure both slots while still having single-target coverage. Garchomp with Life Orb and Rough Skin added fast physical damage through Dragon Claw, Earthquake, and Rock Slide, with Protect to preserve positioning.
The support piece was Whimsicott with Focus Sash and Prankster. Tailwind gave the team a direct speed-control mode, while Encore made passive or defensive turns harder to take safely. Moonblast meant Whimsicott was not only a setup piece, and Protect helped it stay on the field when needed.
The back half of the team gave X2Muz several ways to finish games. Basculegion with Mystic Water and Adaptability had Wave Crash, Aqua Jet, Protect, and Last Respects, making it both a direct attacker and a late-game threat. Kingambit with Black Glasses and Defiant provided Kowtow Cleave, Sucker Punch, Iron Head, and Protect, giving the team another strong priority option. Eternal Flower Floette with Floettite rounded out the squad with Moonblast, Dazzling Gleam, Light of Ruin, and Protect, adding Fairy-type pressure in both spread and single-target forms.
Across the top standings, Garchomp was the clearest common thread. Every top-four team used Garchomp, with Life Orb appearing on X2Muz, Hrishi, and EcoMcC, while mikusnow used Choice Scarf. Charizard was also prominent, appearing on three of the top four teams, all with Charizardite Y and Blaze. Kingambit appeared on each of the top three teams, with Defiant and a priority Sucker Punch set present in all three cases.
Aerodactyl also had a strong showing near the top. Hrishi and EcoMcC both used Aerodactylite Aerodactyl with Unnerve, Rock Slide, and Tailwind, while EcoMcC added Wide Guard. Sylveon was another repeated pick, appearing on Hrishi and EcoMcC with Fairy Feather, Pixilate, Hyper Voice, Hyper Beam, Quick Attack, and Detect.
Takeaway for ladder players: prepare for Garchomp plus fast mode pressure, and make sure your team has a real plan into Charizard, Kingambit, and priority-heavy endgames.
