Place Player Record Team
1 Spindaa [VN] 11-1-0 Sneasler, Garchomp, Whimsicott, Basculegion, Charizard, Kingambit
2 Zephyr0811 [NL] 9-3-0 Gardevoir, Indeedee ♀, Sneasler, Lucario, Annihilape, Armarouge
3 failandimprove [SE] 8-3-0 Dragonite, Sneasler, Kingambit, Rillaboom, Basculegion, Delphox
4 IdoLazer [IL] 8-3-0 Charizard, Pelipper, Archaludon, Venusaur, Grimmsnarl, Garchomp

Spindaa’s winning team is a fast, pressure-heavy composition built around immediate damage, speed control, and layered priority. Whimsicott gives the team Tailwind with Prankster and Focus Sash, while also carrying Encore to punish passive turns. That support lets the team’s attackers operate at a high tempo rather than relying on slower positioning.

Sneasler is one of the central pieces: White Herb with Unburden pairs naturally with Close Combat, giving it a way to attack while enabling its speed boost. Its set of Dire Claw, Close Combat, Rock Tomb, and Protect gives it both offensive pressure and a speed-control option. Garchomp adds Life Orb damage with Dragon Claw, Stomping Tantrum, and Rock Slide, while Rough Skin gives it some punishment into contact.

The team also has strong endgame tools. Basculegion uses Mystic Water and Adaptability with Wave Crash, Aqua Jet, Last Respects, and Protect, giving Spindaa both heavy Water-type damage and priority. Charizard with Charizardite Y brings Solar Beam, Heat Wave, Weather Ball, and Protect, providing a sun mode without needing a separate weather setter. Kingambit rounds out the six with Chople Berry, Defiant, Kowtow Cleave, Sucker Punch, Iron Head, and Low Kick, giving the team another priority option and a sturdy physical attacker.

Across the top teams, Sneasler was a clear recurring pick, appearing on each of the top three teams. The item choices differed: Spindaa used White Herb, Zephyr0811 used Psychic Seed, and failandimprove also used White Herb. Kingambit was also common near the top, appearing on Spindaa, failandimprove, LovelyLuna, and ARegularGuy, usually with Defiant and Sucker Punch.

Charizardite Y was another major thread through the standings. Spindaa, IdoLazer, ARegularGuy, and Zimt Schnegge all used Charizard with Charizardite Y, most often alongside Heat Wave and Weather Ball. Garchomp also appeared repeatedly, with Spindaa and ARegularGuy using Life Orb, IdoLazer using Garchompite Z, LovelyLuna using Sitrus Berry, and Zimt Schnegge using Choice Scarf.

Focus Sash showed up throughout the top cut teams as a flexible stabilizing item, including Whimsicott, Armarouge, Basculegion, Venusaur, and Glimmora across the listed standings. Weather was also prominent, with Charizard sun teams, Pelipper rain structures, and Chlorophyll Venusaur all present in the top eight.

Takeaway for ladder players: prepare for fast physical pressure backed by Tailwind, Sneasler, Kingambit, Charizardite Y, and priority endgames.
