Hatterene Series Weekly #6 2027 M-C results recap

Hatterene Series Weekly #6 2027 - 6PM UTC - M-C was played on 2026-10-07 on Limitless, with 13 players competing in Pokemon Champions Regulation Set M-C. Punihina [MX] finished first at 5-1-0, with final-round wins over xerneusvgc and MeganVGC. xerneusvgc also defeated rainbuckets in the final round matches.

Place Player Record Team
1 Punihina [MX] 5-1-0 Toxapex, Sylveon, Garchomp, Incineroar, Venusaur, Charizard
2 Meaghan B [GB] 4-2-0 Sneasler, Golisopod, Pelipper, Archaludon, Basculegion ♀, Garchomp
3 MeganVGC [US] 3-2-0 Glimmora, Charizard, Hydreigon, Gholdengo, Milotic, Whimsicott
4 rainbuckets 3-2-0 Gengar, Incineroar, Rillaboom, Primarina, Vivillon, Dragapult

Punihina’s winning team was built around a flexible sun offense core with several layers of control. Charizard with Charizardite Y, Blaze, Timid, and Heat Wave, Weather Ball, Ancient Power, and Protect supplied the weather piece, while Venusaur used Life Orb, Chlorophyll, Modest, and Protect, Leaf Storm, Sludge Bomb, and Earth Power as the main sun-enabled attacker. That pairing gave the team immediate pressure without forcing every slot to be purely offensive.

The supporting structure was just as important. Incineroar carried Sitrus Berry, Intimidate, Impish, and the standard utility package of Fake Out, Parting Shot, Flare Blitz, and Throat Chop, giving Punihina positioning tools into a wide range of matchups. Garchomp added speed control through Choice Scarf with Rough Skin, Adamant, Dragon Claw, Earthquake, Stomping Tantrum, and Rock Slide. Sylveon brought Pixilate Hyper Voice with Fairy Feather, plus Detect, Yawn, and Quick Attack, giving the team another spread attacker and a way to pressure defensive positions. Toxapex was the slowest-looking but most disruptive slot, using Leftovers, Regenerator, Bold, Baneful Bunker, Wide Guard, Toxic, and Infestation to punish overextension and support the team into spread-heavy games.

Across the upper standings, Incineroar remained a major fixture. It appeared on Punihina’s winning team, rainbuckets’ fourth-place team, air_anna’s team, MVRIfae’s team, and AuroraBunnealis’s team, with Fake Out and Parting Shot appearing on every listed Incineroar set. Garchomp was also common, showing up for Punihina, Meaghan B, MVRIfae, and AuroraBunnealis, though the sets varied between Choice Scarf, Garchompite Z, and different attacking spreads.

Weather was another visible theme. Punihina and MeganVGC both used Charizard with Charizardite Y, while Meaghan B used Pelipper with Damp Rock and Drizzle alongside Basculegion ♀ with Swift Swim and Archaludon with Electro Shot. Focus Sash also appeared repeatedly on top teams, including Basculegion ♀, Whimsicott, Vivillon, Sneasler, and Sneasler again on multiple lower top-eight teams. Leftovers showed up on Toxapex, Archaludon, Milotic, and Incineroar, reflecting how many teams still valued durable pieces next to fast offensive threats.

Takeaway for ladder players: Punihina’s run shows that a strong weather core is at its best when backed by Fake Out, pivoting, spread protection, and secondary win conditions.
