| 2 | Paperbag34 [SG] | 4-1-0 | Metagross, Garchomp, Incineroar, Volcarona, Rillaboom, Sneasler |

| 4 | Corro [US] | 3-1-0 | Froslass, Raichu, Rillaboom, Kingambit, Sneasler, Hisuian Arcanine |
Llama_Llord’s winning team was built around strong physical pressure backed by multiple layers of positioning. Baxcalibur carried Baxcalibrite with Thermal Exchange, Adamant nature, and a straightforward damage set of Glaive Rush, Ice Shard, Swords Dance, and Protect. That gave the team a clear setup threat that could also pick off weakened targets with priority.
The support core was very familiar but effective. Incineroar used Sitrus Berry, Intimidate, Fake Out, Flare Blitz, Taunt, and Parting Shot, giving the team disruption, pivoting, and a way to slow opposing setup. Rillaboom added Grassy Surge with Miracle Seed, Fake Out, Wood Hammer, Grassy Glide, and High Horsepower, supplying terrain control and priority pressure. Together, Incineroar and Rillaboom created the kind of board control that lets Baxcalibur, Volcarona, and Basculegion choose better turns to attack or protect.
Volcarona was the team’s special setup option, running Grassy Seed, Flame Body, Modest, Quiver Dance, Heat Wave, Struggle Bug, and Protect. In Grassy Terrain, it fit naturally next to Rillaboom while still threatening spread damage and special damage control through Struggle Bug. Sneasler rounded out the support-offense blend with White Herb, Unburden, Coaching, Close Combat, Dire Claw, and Fake Out, giving the team another Fake Out user plus a way to boost its physical attackers. Basculegion, with Life Orb, Adaptability, Wave Crash, Last Respects, Aqua Jet, and Protect, provided heavy late-game damage and additional priority through Aqua Jet.
The top teams showed a very clear metagame pattern. Rillaboom appeared on all of the top four teams, and also appeared on every team listed in the top eight. Incineroar was present on three of the top four teams, with Sitrus Berry Incineroar specifically appearing on both Llama_Llord’s and Paperbag34’s teams. Sneasler was also prominent, showing up on the first-, second-, and fourth-place teams, with White Herb on the top two builds and Grassy Seed on Corro’s version.
The first and second place teams were especially similar structurally: both used Incineroar, Rillaboom, Volcarona, and Sneasler, with Grassy Seed Volcarona and Miracle Seed Rillaboom. Paperbag34 paired that shell with Metagross and Garchomp, while Llama_Llord used Baxcalibur and Basculegion. Froslass also stood out, appearing on both Nealbeans’s and Corro’s top-four teams with Froslassite, Cursed Body, Blizzard, Shadow Ball, Aurora Veil, and Protect.
Takeaway for ladder players: prepare for Rillaboom-centered boards with Fake Out pressure, terrain-enabled priority, and setup sweepers positioned behind Incineroar or Sneasler support.
