👻Mimikyu's Spooky Tourney🎃 results: stag_2402 goes 8-0

👻Mimikyu's Spooky Tourney🎃 | Prize: Shiny Gengar was a 17-player Limitless online event played on 2026-10-12 in Pokemon Champions Regulation Set M-C. stag_2402 finished first at 8-0-0, closing the event with final-round wins over Pariri and dulceyy. ABHIGOD also won a final-round match against Truesoul.

Place Player Record Team
1 stag_2402 [IN] 8-0-0 Gengar, Kingambit, Incineroar, Sneasler, Basculegion, Volcarona
2 Pariri [ID] 6-2-0 Froslass, Basculegion, Sneasler, Incineroar, Golisopod, Mimikyu
3 dulceyy 4-3-0 Basculegion, Incineroar, Sneasler, Scizor, Kingambit, Glimmora
4 ABHIGOD [AU] 4-3-0 Incineroar, Basculegion, Hydreigon, Sinistcha, Sneasler, Scizor

stag_2402’s winning team was built around a strong mix of disruption, pressure, and late-game closing power. Gengar held Gengarite with Cursed Body and carried Protect, Shadow Ball, Disable, and Perish Song, giving the team a direct way to force endgames or restrict opposing options. That paired well with the amount of pivoting and positioning elsewhere on the roster.

Incineroar was the main defensive glue: Chople Berry, Intimidate, Fake Out, Parting Shot, Flare Blitz, and Protect. Sneasler added a second Fake Out user while also threatening damage with Throat Chop and Close Combat, backed by Mental Herb and Unburden. Together, Incineroar and Sneasler gave stag_2402 multiple ways to buy turns for Gengar, Volcarona, or Basculegion.

The offensive pieces were straightforward but threatening. Basculegion used Choice Scarf with Adaptability and carried Last Respects, Flip Turn, Wave Crash, and Phantom Force, giving the team immediate speed and a powerful cleanup angle. Kingambit used Life Orb with Defiant and an Adamant nature, with Protect, Low Kick, Kowtow Cleave, and Sucker Punch. Volcarona rounded out the team with Sitrus Berry, Flame Body, Protect, Rage Powder, Heat Wave, and Quiver Dance, offering both redirection and a setup threat.

Across the top teams, Basculegion was the defining repeated pick. It appeared on each of the top five teams, with Choice Scarf, Life Orb, and Mystic Water all represented. Last Respects and Wave Crash were consistent across those sets, while Aqua Jet, Flip Turn, Phantom Force, and Protect varied by player.

Incineroar was similarly central, appearing on all of the top seven teams. Sitrus Berry was common, but stag_2402 used Chople Berry, and Nuddelmann used White Herb. Fake Out and Parting Shot were nearly universal in the listed Incineroar sets, reinforcing how important tempo control was in this field.

Sneasler also showed up repeatedly near the top, appearing on the first four teams and again on Unknown6666’s team. Mental Herb and White Herb were both used, and Fake Out plus Close Combat appeared frequently. Scizor with Scizorite placed in the top four twice, on dulceyy and ABHIGOD, while Froslass with Froslassite showed up on Pariri, Truesoul, and Nuddelmann.

Takeaway for ladder players: prepare for Incineroar, Basculegion, and Sneasler cores, and have a clear plan for both Fake Out pressure and Last Respects endgames.
