biffpipp’s Battle Frontier - CHAMPS M-C TOUR #2 results

biffpipp’s Battle Frontier - CHAMPS M-C TOUR #2 was a 43-player online event on Limitless, played on 2026-10-04 under Pokemon Champions Regulation Set M-C. Hunter K [CA] finished first at 8-1-0, ahead of osaka_vl [US] on the same record. The reported final round included ratboy37 over stksigurboy, timbucket over ercarota72, and stksigurboy over fengli.

Place Player Record Team
1 Hunter K [CA] 8-1-0 Indeedee ♀, Milotic, Dragapult, Armarouge, Staraptor, Gengar
2 osaka_vl [US] 8-1-0 Lucario, Incineroar, Kingambit, Rillaboom, Sneasler, Garchomp
3 STKSigurboy [CL] 6-2-0 Froslass, Raichu, Rillaboom, Kingambit, Sneasler, Hisuian Arcanine
4 timbucket [US] 5-3-0 Indeedee ♀, Gardevoir, Hisuian Typhlosion, Sneasler, Aerodactyl, Kingambit

Hunter K’s winning team is built around a strong Psychic mode without being one-dimensional. Indeedee ♀ provides Psychic Surge, Follow Me, Helping Hand, and Trick Room, giving Armarouge a clean path to use Expanding Force while also protecting key turns with Wide Guard and Protect. Focus Sash on Armarouge makes that role more reliable, while Rocky Helmet on Indeedee ♀ punishes contact into the redirection slot.

Milotic is another important stabilizer. Psychic Seed plus Competitive gives it defensive and punishment angles, and the set of Muddy Water, Coil, Recover, and Hypnosis lets it operate as more than a passive support piece. Dragapult adds immediate speed and special pressure with Life Orb, Infiltrator, Draco Meteor, Shadow Ball, and Will-O-Wisp, which helps the team avoid relying only on Trick Room turns.

The back half of the team gives Hunter K multiple closing options. Staraptor with Staraptite, Intimidate, Close Combat, Brave Bird, Roost, and Protect supplies physical pressure and positioning utility. Gengar with Gengarite, Cursed Body, Sludge Bomb, Shadow Ball, Protect, and Focus Blast rounds out the composition with another fast special attacker. Overall, the six can pivot between terrain-supported offense, Trick Room control, redirection, and direct damage.

Across the top teams, several patterns stood out. Kingambit appeared on osaka_vl, STKSigurboy, timbucket, and Daretty, most often leaning on Defiant, Kowtow Cleave, Sucker Punch, and Protect or setup. Rillaboom was even more common across the broader top eight, appearing on six teams with Miracle Seed and Grassy Surge in every listed case. Incineroar also remained a major glue pick, appearing on five of the top eight teams with Intimidate, Fake Out, and Parting Shot frequently present.

Sneasler was another key repeat in the top four, appearing on osaka_vl, STKSigurboy, and timbucket. Two of those used White Herb with Unburden, while timbucket paired Sneasler with Psychic Seed next to Indeedee ♀. That Psychic Seed pattern also showed up on Hunter K’s Milotic, reinforcing how valuable seed-based bulk can be beside terrain.

The item spread also highlighted familiar Regulation Set M-C priorities: Miracle Seed Rillaboom, Sitrus Berry Incineroar, Life Orb attackers, and Focus Sash utility attackers all showed up repeatedly.

Takeaway for ladder players: prepare for Rillaboom, Incineroar, Kingambit, and Psychic Terrain modes, but do not ignore flexible speed control around Trick Room and fast special attackers.
