EnryuVGC’s winning team was built around layered positioning tools and multiple late-game routes. Politoed supplied Drizzle and carried Sitrus Berry with Weather Ball, Perish Song, Encore, and Protect, giving the team both weather control and a clear endgame button. The Perish Song angle was doubled up by Gengar with Gengarite, Cursed Body, Shadow Ball, Perish Song, Sludge Bomb, and Protect, making the composition capable of forcing awkward board states rather than relying only on direct damage.
The damage core was similarly flexible. Archaludon used Leftovers and Stamina with Dragon Pulse, Flash Cannon, Electro Shot, and Protect, fitting naturally next to rain support from Politoed. Swampert held Swampertite and brought physical pressure with Wave Crash, High Horsepower, Ice Punch, and Protect. Around that, Incineroar and Rillaboom gave EnryuVGC a strong pivoting shell: Intimidate, Fake Out, Parting Shot, and Passho Berry on Incineroar; Grassy Surge, Fake Out, U-turn, Grassy Glide, and Eject Button on Rillaboom. The result was a team that could trade board position repeatedly before closing with rain-boosted offense, Archaludon staying power, or Perish Song pressure.
The wider top standings showed how central Rillaboom was to this event.
