Mindless_99’s winning team was built around layered board control and multiple immediate damage threats. Rillaboom with Miracle Seed, Grassy Surge, Fake Out, Grassy Glide, Wood Hammer, and U-turn gave the team terrain pressure, priority, pivoting, and a strong physical Grass-type option. Incineroar added the familiar Intimidate plus Fake Out and Parting Shot structure, with Sitrus Berry helping it stay active across longer games.
The standout offensive core was Sneasler, Kingambit, Salamence, and Delphox. Sneasler used Grassy Seed with Unburden, giving the team a direct synergy with Rillaboom and another Fake Out user alongside Close Combat and Dire Claw. Kingambit carried Chople Berry, Defiant, Protect, Swords Dance, Sucker Punch, and Kowtow Cleave, making it a clear answer to Intimidate-heavy games while also offering priority. Salamence with Salamencite and Intimidate provided special pressure through Hyper Voice, Flamethrower, and Draco Meteor. Delphox with Delphoxite, Heat Wave, Nasty Plot, Psychic, and Protect gave the composition a second special attacker capable of pushing damage after setup.
Across the top standings, several patterns were clear. Gholdengo appeared on five of the top eight teams, all with Good as Gold and Life Orb, and most with Make It Rain, Shadow Ball, Nasty Plot, and Protect. Milotic was also heavily represented, appearing on five of the top eight teams with Competitive, usually paired with either Sitrus Berry or Leftovers. That made Intimidate usage more complicated, even though Incineroar and Salamence still had strong showings.
Rillaboom remained a major support and damage piece, appearing on four of the top eight teams, always with Grassy Surge and Miracle Seed. Incineroar appeared on three of the top eight teams, each with Intimidate, Fake Out, Flare Blitz, and Parting Shot. Salamence with Salamencite also showed up three times in the top eight, reinforcing its value as a flexible Intimidate Mega with Hyper Voice pressure and, on some teams, Tailwind.
The Mega choices were diverse: Delphoxite, Staraptite, Baxcalibrite, Metagrossite, Charizardite Y, Raichunite Y, Gardevoirite, Salamencite, and Tyranitarite all appeared in the top eight. Still, the repeated support shell of Fake Out, Intimidate, Grassy Surge, Competitive, and Good as Gold defined much of the upper bracket.
Takeaway for ladder players: prepare for Rillaboom plus Fake Out pressure, Life Orb Gholdengo, and Competitive Milotic before locking in Intimidate-heavy teams.
