EnryuVGC’s winning team combined direct pressure, redirection, speed control, and multiple forms of priority. Maushold was the most obvious offensive centerpiece, using Wide Lens and Technician with Population Bomb, while still carrying Super Fang for consistent damage into bulkier targets. Clefable added Follow Me support, Thunder Wave speed control, and Unaware, giving the team a stabilizing piece that did not need to rely only on raw tempo.
Scrafty fit the team cleanly as an Intimidate and Fake Out user, with Roseli Berry helping it stay functional into Fairy pressure. Pelipper gave the composition Drizzle, Tailwind, and Life Orb-boosted attacks through Weather Ball and Hurricane, making it both a weather setter and an attacker rather than a passive support slot. Azumarill added a second major physical threat with Sitrus Berry, Huge Power, Belly Drum, Aqua Jet, and Play Rough. Lycanroc Dusk rounded the team out with Choice Scarf, Rock Slide, Accelerock, Close Combat, and Iron Head, giving EnryuVGC fast coverage and another priority option.
Across the top cut of the standings shown here, Scrafty was one of the clearest recurring pieces. It appeared on the first-, second-, third-, and fifth-place teams, and every listed Scrafty used Roseli Berry with Intimidate and Fake Out. That combination of positioning, damage mitigation, and utility clearly remained valuable across different team styles.
Maushold was another major trend, appearing on EnryuVGC’s winning team as well as Lixard, Rishi_G, AyushXD, and Grenade_greninja29. Most of those builds used Wide Lens or King's Rock with Population Bomb, but the support moves varied, including Follow Me, Taunt, Feint, Helping Hand, After You, and Encore. Whimsicott also showed up repeatedly from fourth through eighth, almost always as a Prankster Tailwind and Encore user.
Weather was present but not one-dimensional. Pelipper appeared on the first, second, and seventh-place teams, while Torkoal appeared on AyushXD and Grenade_greninja29. Azumarill was also common near the top, appearing on EnryuVGC, Tenex, and AyushXD, each time with Sitrus Berry and Huge Power.
Takeaway for ladder players: prioritize teams that can combine proactive damage with flexible speed control, because the top results leaned heavily on Tailwind, Fake Out, redirection, and priority.
