SeroSmurf’s winning team was built around layered offensive pressure with multiple setup routes. Delphox held Delphoxite with Blaze and used Psychic, Heat Wave, Nasty Plot, and Protect, giving the team a fast special attacker that could threaten both single-target and spread damage. Primarina added Life Orb, Liquid Voice, Modest Hyper Voice, Moonblast, Icy Wind, and Protect, functioning as another strong special attacker while also offering speed control through Icy Wind.
The middle of the composition made the setup theme clear. Kommo-o carried Leftovers, Soundproof, Clanging Scales, Aura Sphere, Clangorous Soul, and Protect, while Kingambit used Black Glasses, Defiant, Kowtow Cleave, Sucker Punch, Swords Dance, and Protect. Those two gave SeroSmurf both special and physical snowball options. Maushold tied the plan together with Sitrus Berry, Friend Guard, Follow Me, Protect, Taunt, and Super Fang, giving the team redirection, damage mitigation, and utility into opposing setup or control. Rillaboom rounded out the six with Miracle Seed, Grassy Surge, Wood Hammer, Grassy Glide, High Horsepower, and Fake Out, supplying Fake Out pressure and priority damage.
Across the upper standings, several Pokemon stood out as repeated choices. Kingambit appeared on the teams of SeroSmurf, johnnyjoestar, Gurin, and zzsachi, and all four used Defiant with Kowtow Cleave and Sucker Punch. Sneasler was also common, appearing for CokeSebas, Gurin, IRNemesis, and zzsachi, always with Unburden but with different enablers including White Herb, Grassy Seed, Psychic Seed, and Focus Sash.
Rillaboom remained a frequent support attacker, showing up for SeroSmurf, Gurin, and zzsachi with Grassy Surge, Miracle Seed, Fake Out, and Grassy Glide. Primarina appeared on both of the top two teams with Life Orb, Liquid Voice, Modest, Hyper Voice, Moonblast, Icy Wind, and Protect. Farigiraf also showed up multiple times in the top eight with Armor Tail, Sitrus Berry, Trick Room, and Protect variants.
Item trends were similarly concentrated. Life Orb was used by Primarina, Garchomp, Kingambit, Kommo-o, and Hatterene across the listed top teams, while Sitrus Berry appeared on Maushold, Farigiraf, Incineroar, and other support pieces. Focus Sash was another recurring choice on Whimsicott, Kingambit, Armarouge, Sneasler, Mamoswine, and Gallade.
Takeaway for ladder players: prepare for Kingambit and Sneasler cores while respecting redirection-backed setup from teams like SeroSmurf’s.
