Hatterene Series Weekly #8 2027 results recap

Hatterene Series Weekly #8 2027 - 7PM UTC - M-C was a 16-player online event played on Limitless on 2026-10-25 under Pokemon Champions Regulation Set M-C. The final round path ended with michiru468 beating kyonkicchi, lavender beating xerneusvgc, and then michiru468 beating lavender to take the tournament.

Place Player Record Team
1 Michiru468 [DE] 5-1-0 Basculegion ♀ / Golisopod / Archaludon / Pelipper / Raichu / Sneasler
2 Lavender [NL] 4-2-0 Indeedee / Whimsicott / Glimmora / Charizard / Garchomp / Eternal Flower Floette
3 Meaghan B [GB] 4-1-0 Charizard / Whimsicott / Kingambit / Garchomp / Sneasler / Basculegion
4 Kyonkicchi [US] 3-2-0 Swampert / Pelipper / Golisopod / Indeedee ♀ / Armarouge / Sneasler

Michiru468 won with a rain-centered team that had several clear pressure points. Pelipper carried Damp Rock with Drizzle, giving the team extended weather support while also bringing Weather Ball, Hurricane, Helping Hand, and Wide Guard. That paired directly with Basculegion ♀, which used Focus Sash, Swift Swim, and a Modest set of Muddy Water, Shadow Ball, Ice Beam, and Protect. The result was a fast special attacker that could immediately threaten spread damage while staying protected from a single knockout through Focus Sash.

The rest of the winning composition gave the rain mode enough flexibility to avoid being one-dimensional. Archaludon used Leftovers with Stamina and a Calm nature, carrying Dragon Pulse, Electro Shot, Snarl, and Protect, giving Michiru468 a bulkier piece that could lower opposing damage with Snarl. Golisopod held Golisopite with Emergency Exit and an Adamant set of Iron Head, Leech Life, Sucker Punch, and Protect, adding priority and physical pressure. Raichu brought Raichunite X, Lightning Rod, Volt Tackle, Volt Switch, Fake Out, and Feint, offering both redirection utility for Electric-type attacks and disruption through Fake Out and Feint. Sneasler rounded out the team with Electric Seed, Unburden, Poison Jab, Close Combat, Swords Dance, and Protect, giving the roster another immediate offensive angle.

Across the top teams, Sneasler was one of the most visible recurring picks, appearing on the 1st, 3rd, and 4th place teams with different items: Electric Seed, White Herb, and Psychic Seed. Golisopod also had a strong showing, appearing on both Michiru468’s winning team and Kyonkicchi’s 4th place rain team, each with Golisopite and Emergency Exit. Pelipper was present on both rain teams in the top 4, though Michiru468 used Damp Rock while Kyonkicchi used Sitrus Berry.

The 2nd and 3rd place teams shared a notable Charizard, Whimsicott, and Garchomp core. Lavender used Charizard with Charizardite Y, Whimsicott with Babiri Berry, and Garchomp with Choice Scarf, while Meaghan B used Charizard with Charizardite Y, Whimsicott with Focus Sash, and Garchomp with Life Orb. Indeedee-based Psychic Surge structures also appeared in the top 4, with Lavender using Indeedee and Kyonkicchi using Indeedee ♀ alongside Armarouge.

Takeaway for ladder players: rain with layered support, especially Pelipper plus a fast Basculegion mode, remains a practical Regulation Set M-C direction when backed by Fake Out, Wide Guard, and secondary physical threats.
