| Place | Player | Record | Team |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | serenesplash [PH] | 6-0-0 | Indeedee ♀, Gardevoir, Sneasler, Armarouge, Salamence, Kingambit |
| 2 | MightyAnt43 [ID] | 4-2-0 | Meganium, Raichu, Noivern, Farigiraf, Hisuian Arcanine, Gholdengo |
| 3 | MysticTactician [US] | 3-2-0 | Staraptor, Charizard, Glimmora, Whimsicott, Garchomp, Indeedee |
| 4 | MadamePasghetti [CA] | 3-2-0 | Glimmora, Whimsicott, Indeedee ♀, Meowscarada, Pyroar, Kommo-o |
serenesplash’s winning team was built around a clear Psychic Terrain core. Indeedee ♀ with Colbur Berry, Psychic Surge, Follow Me, and Helping Hand enabled both positioning and immediate pressure, while Gardevoir with Gardevoirite and Armarouge with Charcoal gave the team two Expanding Force users. Gardevoir also carried Hyper Voice and Thunderbolt, giving it spread damage and coverage outside Psychic-type attacks, while Armarouge added Heat Wave and the important utility of Wide Guard.
Sneasler fit naturally next to Indeedee ♀ as a Psychic Seed and Unburden attacker, threatening with Dire Claw, Close Combat, and Rock Slide. Salamence with Salamencite added Intimidate, Tailwind, Hyper Voice, and Draco Meteor, giving the team a second speed-control plan beyond Sneasler’s Unburden. Kingambit rounded out the six with Chople Berry, Defiant, Kowtow Cleave, Sucker Punch, Iron Head, and Low Kick, giving serenesplash a strong physical closer and a way to punish opposing stat drops.
The top cut showed several repeated structures. Psychic Surge was one of the clearest themes: serenesplash used Indeedee ♀, MysticTactician used Indeedee, MadamePasghetti used Indeedee ♀, and ZeroPointer also brought Indeedee. Sneasler appeared on serenesplash, ZeroPointer, and kopo555, with Psychic Seed on serenesplash and ZeroPointer and Unburden on all three. Kingambit was also common near the top, appearing on serenesplash, Corako, and kopo555 with Defiant.
Glimmora was another major presence, appearing on MysticTactician, MadamePasghetti, and Corako. MadamePasghetti and Corako both used Glimmoranite, while MysticTactician used Life Orb. Whimsicott showed up on both MysticTactician and MadamePasghetti with Prankster and Tailwind, and both teams paired it with Glimmora. Focus Sash was widespread across the standings, including Hisuian Arcanine, Indeedee, Whimsicott, Pelipper, and Salazzle, while Life Orb also appeared repeatedly on Noivern, Glimmora, Kommo-o, and Kingambit.
Takeaway for ladder players: prepare for Psychic Surge offense, especially Follow Me support into Expanding Force pressure, while keeping Wide Guard, speed control, and Dark- or Steel-type answers in mind.
