Metaknight1320’s winning team was built around immediate board control and flexible damage. Salamence carried Salamencite with Intimidate and a Hasty nature, giving the team Tailwind support alongside Double-Edge, Hyper Voice, and Protect. That made it both a speed enabler and an attacker rather than a passive setup piece.
Metagross added a second major physical threat with Metagrossite, Clear Body, Iron Head, Psychic Fangs, Bullet Punch, and Protect. Between Bullet Punch and Kingambit’s Sucker Punch, the team had multiple ways to finish weakened targets outside normal speed order.
