Noktuska’s winning team was built around flexible weather pressure and strong speed control. Pelipper brought Drizzle, Focus Sash, Tailwind, and Wide Guard, giving the team both tempo and defensive utility. That support paired naturally with Archaludon, whose Leftovers, Stamina, and Electro Shot set gave it a long-game role while still threatening immediate damage.
The other side of the weather package came from Charizard holding Charizardite Y, with Heat Wave, Weather Ball, Solar Beam, and Protect. Venusaur added another pressure point with Venusaurite, Chlorophyll, Sleep Powder, Giga Drain, Sludge Bomb, and Earth Power, forcing opponents to respect both damage and disruption. Grimmsnarl rounded out the structure with Light Clay, Prankster, Reflect, Light Screen, Spirit Break, and Parting Shot, making it much easier for the weather attackers and Archaludon to stay on the board. Basculegion gave the team a fast physical closer with Choice Scarf, Adaptability, Wave Crash, Last Respects, Flip Turn, and Aqua Jet.
Across the top cut of standings, Basculegion was one of the clearest trends. It appeared on each of the top three teams and also on Ryugami0’s seventh-place team, most often using Adaptability with Wave Crash, Last Respects, and Aqua Jet. Charizard also had a strong showing, appearing on both finalist teams and Ryugami0’s team, all holding Charizardite Y.
The Leon000, Gameboy_09, Ryugami0, and Bosserzgalorz builds shared a noticeable offensive core pattern: Whimsicott, Garchomp, Kingambit, and often Basculegion. Whimsicott provided Prankster Tailwind and Encore pressure, while Garchomp commonly used Rough Skin with Earthquake, Rock Slide, Dragon Claw, and Protect. Kingambit was another repeated pick, usually built around Defiant, Kowtow Cleave, Sucker Punch, Iron Head, and either Protect or Low Kick.
Items also showed clear preferences.
