Unova Champions League #12 was a 17-player Limitless online event played on 2026-08-07 in Pokemon Champions Regulation Set M-B. The final round results featured profraven_d0708 beating robinkaos and roaringmoonlight, while jhinting defeated doubleaa, with Jhinting [DE] finishing first at 7-1-0.

Place Player Record Team
1 Jhinting [DE] 7-1-0 Tyranitar, Sinistcha, Staraptor, Gholdengo, Milotic, Excadrill
2 profraven_d0708 [FR] 5-3-0 Staraptor, Metagross, Farigiraf, Whimsicott, Garchomp, Ceruledge
3 RobinKaos [SE] 6-1-0 Charizard, Garchomp, Basculegion, Eternal Flower Floette, Whimsicott, Kingambit
4 TitanoPigro3 [IT] 5-2-0 Charizard, Venusaur, Garchomp, Incineroar, Toxapex, Annihilape

Jhinting’s winning team was built around a clear sand mode: Tyranitar with Tyranitarite, Sand Stream, Jolly, and Knock Off, Rock Slide, Low Kick, Protect paired directly with Focus Sash Excadrill using Sand Rush, High Horsepower, Iron Head, Rock Slide, Protect. That gives the team immediate weather control and a fast physical attacker that can threaten both single-target and spread pressure.

The rest of the roster adds several layers around that core. Staraptor with Staraptite and Intimidate brought Close Combat, Brave Bird, Tailwind, Protect, giving Jhinting another fast pressure point plus a direct speed-control option. Sinistcha’s Colbur Berry set with Hospitality, Matcha Gotcha, Shadow Ball, Protect, Rage Powder gave the team redirection and recovery-oriented utility, while Milotic’s Sitrus Berry Competitive set with Scald, Icy Wind, Haze, Protect added speed control, anti-setup tools, and punishment into Intimidate-style play. Gholdengo rounded the team out as the main special damage threat, using Life Orb, Good as Gold, Modest, Make It Rain, Shadow Ball, Nasty Plot, Protect.

Across the top standings, Staraptor was one of the most visible picks. Jhinting and profraven_d0708 both used Staraptite Staraptor, and it also appeared on RoaringMoonlight’s and Elie H’s teams further down the standings. Charizard with Charizardite Y was another major presence, appearing on RobinKaos, TitanoPigro3, DoubleAA, and jorhejxz teams. Garchomp was also common in the upper cut of the standings, showing up on profraven_d0708, RobinKaos, and TitanoPigro3 with Rough Skin and Rock Slide on each set.

Speed control was everywhere. Tailwind appeared on Staraptor, Whimsicott, Pelipper, and Aerodactyl sets in the standings, while Jhinting also had Milotic’s Icy Wind and profraven_d0708 had both Whimsicott Tailwind and Farigiraf Trick Room. Focus Sash was a repeated item across important support and offense slots, including Excadrill, Whimsicott, Annihilape, Venusaur, Aerodactyl, and Hisuian Arcanine. Life Orb also showed up repeatedly on high-output attackers such as Gholdengo, Garchomp, Venusaur, and Kingambit.

For ladder players: bring layered speed control and a plan into both Staraptite Staraptor and Charizardite Y structures.
