Place Player Record Team
1 Maggrosbeat [FR] 7-1-0 Dragonite / Basculegion / Sneasler / Kingambit / Rillaboom / Eternal Flower Floette
2 megacisco [BR] 6-2-0 Gholdengo / Rillaboom / Hisuian Arcanine / Raichu / Staraptor / Primarina
3 vishnu21 [US] 5-2-0 Rillaboom / Volcarona / Floette / Sneasler / Garchomp / Kingambit
4 Vailurie 4-3-0 Indeedee / Metagross / Garchomp / Sneasler / Whimsicott / Salamence

Maggrosbeat’s winning team combined direct damage, priority, and flexible speed control. Dragonite with Dragoninite, Inner Focus, Tailwind, Heat Wave, Dragon Pulse, and Protect gave the team a special attacking Mega option while also providing Tailwind. Basculegion carried Mystic Water and Adaptability with Wave Crash, Last Respects, Aqua Jet, and Protect, making it a clear physical pressure piece with priority cleanup through Aqua Jet.

The support and positioning tools were equally important. Sneasler used Focus Sash with Poison Touch, Fake Out, Poison Jab, Close Combat, and Protect, giving Maggrosbeat an immediate disruption option that could still threaten damage. Rillaboom brought Grassy Surge, Miracle Seed, Fake Out, Wood Hammer, Grassy Glide, and High Horsepower, adding both terrain control and another priority angle with Grassy Glide. Kingambit was a Life Orb Defiant attacker with Kowtow Cleave, Sucker Punch, Swords Dance, and Protect, giving the team another late-game priority threat. Eternal Flower Floette rounded out the composition with Floettite, Flower Veil, Moonblast, Dazzling Gleam, Calm Mind, and Protect, adding Fairy-type spread pressure and a setup route.

Across the top teams, Rillaboom was one of the clearest trends. It appeared on the first-, second-, and third-place teams, always with Miracle Seed and Grassy Surge, and always with Fake Out, Wood Hammer, and Grassy Glide. Sneasler was also heavily represented, appearing on the first, third, and fourth teams with different item and ability choices: Focus Sash with Poison Touch for Maggrosbeat, White Herb with Unburden for vishnu21, and Psychic Seed with Unburden for Vailurie.

Mega-style item choices shaped much of the field. Dragoninite appeared on Maggrosbeat’s winning Dragonite, Floettite appeared on both Maggrosbeat’s Eternal Flower Floette and vishnu21’s Floette, and Vailurie used both Metagrossite on Metagross and Salamencite on Salamence. megacisco’s runner-up team had its own spread of threats, including Grassy Seed Gholdengo, Raichunite Y Raichu, Staraptite Staraptor, and Leftovers Primarina.

Kingambit also stood out near the top, appearing on Maggrosbeat and vishnu21 with Defiant, Sucker Punch, and Kowtow Cleave. Garchomp was present on both vishnu21’s and Vailurie’s teams, though with different items: Choice Scarf for vishnu21 and Life Orb for Vailurie.

Takeaway for ladder players: build with priority, Fake Out pressure, and a clear Mega-slot plan in mind, because the top teams repeatedly leaned on those tools.
