Intimidators Champions Challenge #51 REG M-C results recap

Intimidators Champions Challenge #51 REG M-C was played on Limitless on 2026-10-19, with 52 players competing in Pokemon Champions Regulation Set M-C. CaioVGC [BR] finished first at 8-1-0, ahead of a top cut that showed several distinct approaches to Mega-centric offense.

Place Player Record Team
1 CaioVGC [BR] 8-1-0 Charizard, Gardevoir, Indeedee ♀, Whimsicott, Gholdengo, Garchomp
2 LeonMagela [BR] 7-2-0 Delphox, Blastoise, Sneasler, Sinistcha, Incineroar, Kingambit
3 AntZim [BR] 6-2-0 Basculegion ♀, Golisopod, Archaludon, Pelipper, Raichu, Sneasler
4 Isaac Moreira [BR] 5-3-0 Raichu, Archaludon, Pelipper, Basculegion ♀, Sneasler, Golisopod

CaioVGC’s winning team combined layered speed control with strong spread damage and flexible positioning. Charizard with Charizardite Y ran Heat Wave, Weather Ball, Solar Beam, and Protect, giving the team a central special attacker with immediate pressure into a wide range of boards. Gardevoir with Gardevoirite added Hyper Voice for more spread offense, while Expanding Force paired naturally with Indeedee ♀’s Psychic Surge.

The support structure was just as important as the damage. Indeedee ♀ carried Rocky Helmet with Follow Me, Psychic, Helping Hand, and Trick Room, letting CaioVGC redirect attacks, boost partners, or flip speed when needed. Whimsicott gave a second form of speed control through Tailwind while also using Encore to punish passive turns. Gholdengo’s Choice Scarf set with Make It Rain, Shadow Ball, Power Gem, and Trick offered a fast special option that could also disrupt opposing defensive pieces. Garchomp rounded out the roster as a Life Orb physical attacker with Stomping Tantrum, Dragon Claw, Rock Slide, and Protect.

Across the rest of the top standings, Sneasler was one of the clearest recurring picks. LeonMagela used a Focus Sash Poison Touch set with Quick Guard, Fake Out, Close Combat, and Poison Jab, while AntZim and Isaac Moreira both used Electric Seed Unburden versions with Swords Dance. Garchomp also appeared repeatedly, including CaioVGC’s Life Orb set, Luxerna’s Life Orb set, and Garchompite Z variants from JGS and Smicer2566.

Another major trend was the shared rain-style core in third and fourth. AntZim and Isaac Moreira both brought Pelipper with Damp Rock and Drizzle, Archaludon with Leftovers and Stamina, Basculegion ♀ with Focus Sash and Swift Swim, Raichu with Raichunite X and Lightning Rod, Sneasler, and Golisopod with Golisopite. Their move choices were also very close, especially on Pelipper, Archaludon, Basculegion ♀, Raichu, and Golisopod.

Item trends were straightforward: Focus Sash showed up on several offensive or utility Pokemon, including Whimsicott, Sneasler, Basculegion ♀, Glimmora, and Excadrill. Leftovers appeared on bulky pieces like Archaludon, Milotic, and Primarina, while Life Orb boosted key attackers such as Garchomp, Kingambit, and Gholdengo.

Takeaway for ladder players: build with both proactive speed control and a clear answer to repeated Sneasler, Garchomp, and Pelipper-based cores.
