Place	Player	Record	Team

2	Octane618 [GB]	6-2-0	Sneasler, Rillaboom, Incineroar, Dragonite, Hisuian Arcanine, Eternal Flower Floette

4	Cleber Pinto [BR]	4-3-0	Meowstic ♀, Kommo-o, Indeedee, Sneasler, Kingambit, Charizard

oatmeal’s winning team combined a strong defensive pivot structure with multiple endgame plans. Rillaboom and Incineroar gave the team the familiar Fake Out, terrain, Intimidate, and Parting Shot framework, with Rillaboom holding Eject Button and Incineroar using Passho Berry. That support core helped create room for the team’s higher-commitment setup and control pieces.

Gengar was a central pick, using Gengarite with Sludge Bomb, Shadow Ball, Perish Song, and Protect. Alongside Politoed, which also carried Perish Song, oatmeal had access to a clear trapping-style win condition without needing every game to revolve around raw damage. Politoed also supplied Drizzle and Weather Ball, while Encore gave it another way to punish passive turns or overextension.

Kommo-o added a second major win condition with Leftovers, Bulletproof, Clanging Scales, Aura Sphere, Clangorous Soul, and Protect. Golisopod rounded out the roster with Golisopite, Leech Life, Sucker Punch, Swords Dance, and Protect, giving the team another physical threat that could pressure late-game board states. The full six made sense as a layered composition: pivot early with Rillaboom and Incineroar, threaten Perish Song positioning with Gengar and Politoed, and preserve Kommo-o or Golisopod as a closer.

Across the top teams, Rillaboom and Incineroar remained highly relevant. Both appeared on the first- and second-place teams, and both top-two Incineroar sets used Fake Out and Parting Shot. Sneasler was another repeated standout, appearing on Octane618’s second-place team and Cleber Pinto’s fourth-place team, with Unburden enabled by Grassy Seed or Psychic Seed.

Weather and terrain were also prominent. Politoed appeared in first and third, while Charizard with Charizardite Y appeared in third and fourth. Psychic terrain structures showed up through Indeedee and Expanding Force on Cleber Pinto’s team, while Grassy Surge supported both oatmeal and Octane618. Several top teams also leaned on durable setup or scaling pieces, including Kommo-o with Clangorous Soul, Espathra with Calm Mind and Baton Pass, and Eternal Flower Floette with Calm Mind.

Item trends were straightforward but important: Sitrus Berry, Leftovers, Focus Sash, and seed items all appeared repeatedly among the top finishers. Protect was also nearly universal across the most important attackers and setup pieces, reinforcing how valuable flexible turn management was in this Regulation Set M-C field.

Takeaway for ladder players: pair your strongest setup or Perish Song plan with reliable Fake Out, pivoting, and Protect support rather than relying on damage alone.
