| 2 | charpie [CL] | 7-3-0 | Whimsicott, Garchomp, Kingambit, Sneasler, Charizard, Froslass |

NewAdi6’s winning team had several clear modes without leaning on only one speed plan. Blaziken with Blazikenite, Speed Boost, Flare Blitz, Close Combat, Rock Slide, and Detect gave the team a direct physical attacker that could pressure quickly while still having Protect-style positioning through Detect. Dragonite with Dragoninite added Tailwind support alongside Dragon Pulse, Heat Wave, and Protect, giving the composition a fast mode that did not depend entirely on Blaziken.
The support core was especially important. Rillaboom carried Miracle Seed with Grassy Surge, Grassy Glide, Wood Hammer, High Horsepower, and Fake Out, providing priority damage and board control. Farigiraf used Grassy Seed with Armor Tail, Psychic, Trick Room, Hyper Voice, and Helping Hand, letting the team deny opposing priority while also offering a slower mode through Trick Room. That made NewAdi6’s speed control flexible: Tailwind, Trick Room, Speed Boost, and Fake Out all appeared on the same roster.
The special attacking side was also well covered. Gholdengo with Life Orb, Good as Gold, Make It Rain, Shadow Ball, Nasty Plot, and Protect gave the team a strong setup and spread-damage threat. Milotic rounded out the six with Leftovers, Competitive, Scald, Ice Beam, Haze, and Protect, giving the team a useful answer into stat-based pressure while Haze offered a way to reset opposing boosts.
Across the top teams, Garchomp was one of the most visible picks, appearing on the second-, third-, and fourth-place teams, always with Life Orb, Rough Skin, Jolly, Dragon Claw, Rock Slide, and Protect in some form. Whimsicott also stood out, appearing on charpie’s and darxzy’s teams with Focus Sash, Prankster, Tailwind, Encore, Moonblast, and Protect.
The second- and fourth-place teams were especially similar: both used Sneasler with White Herb and Unburden, Charizard with Charizardite Y, Kingambit with Chople Berry, Garchomp with Life Orb, Whimsicott with Focus Sash, and Froslass with Froslassite. Rillaboom was another recurring piece in the wider top cut, with Miracle Seed and Grassy Surge appearing on both NewAdi6’s and Yeray402’s teams. Incineroar remained present as well, showing up on Yeray402’s team with Sitrus Berry, Intimidate, Fake Out, and Parting Shot.
Takeaway for ladder players: build with multiple speed-control lines, because the top teams here were not relying on a single pace to win games.
